Wow looking back at this game they did a great job with the story telling, the music, and the exploration. For 20 years old too. The music was so raw

I remember getting to the Gohan vs Buutenks fight and getting my ass kicked because I thought Buu was just too strong. Turns out that I went the entire game up to that point without knowing how to add points to my stats and that’s why my characters did shit damage lmfao
I remember that I was the same at the beginning until I looked for a guide and it was the first thing they said. But don't go as far as you do. You must have trained a lot. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

They went all out with this game, everything was improved. I remember playing this nonstop as a child. Main reason why I grabbed Dragonball Z kakarot

If you go fishing before Majin Vegeta will be back to regular base Vegeta until you beat Buu. The Final Impact animation will also have him in base form instead of Majin.

This game is how I found out about the Majin Buu saga. Without it and the gba legacy of Goku games there wouldn't be a Kakarot .
Oh man, the nostaligia lol. I just watched a Dragonball Advanced Adventures and Dragonball Supersonic Warriors. I miss those GBA/SP games lol.
I remember the hardest part in this game for me was catching Vegeta as Trunks in that time chamber.
I also remember being locked out of a certain area of the map (desert map?). You go in around 190 or 200 or something but once you try to leave, the gate is locked. I thought I was screwed and there was no way out (maybe there was no way out) but luckily I did the fusion dance right at the gate as Gogeta and it walked right through the gate for me!

I just started playing this as a walkthrough today even tho I already played it multiple times
The walkthroughs are good, since they make it easier to get all the collectibles and you discover things that you had not previously seen. That happened to me a lot until I decided to always play the most difficult games with a guide.
You know if you were to play this game again here is a tip when using vegeta to make this easy game easier than before first use big bang attack then just spam the normal attack button inside the big bang that means a lot of damage which makes the bosses you fight with vegeta excruciatingly easy

@@crazyghost5357 I can understand that for maybe the rock throwing section, but the player is new to this game like how Goten is new to fighting, the player would be able to fit in his shoes a lot better. See Budokai 2 for instance.

not to have a special súper saiyan form used only for the battle with the final boss. in the first game Super Saiyan was used against frieza and in the second game Super Saiyan 2 was used only against Cell
And does not bear the series name
The fact that a new transformation does not appear in the final fight against Kid Buu is due to the same original story, since this game is very faithful to it. There is a fight where Goku fights with him, you have the option to transform into SS3, but it is not mandatory to do it as in the previous ones. It was very nice to play with Videl even for a few moments. 😁😁😁
I got to Kid Buu without using stat points as a 8 year old. Don't know if I could do that today tbh lol.
That's quite a feat, as the game is super hard and I can't imagine getting through it without raising my stat points. 😨😨😨
Same happened to me. It doesn't help that the game doesn't tell you how to apply them at all. Finally figured it out near the end of the game while grinding Ultimate Gohan for the Super Buu fight.
@@poly_g6068 Well, then it is not something so uncommon that they reach the end without knowing about this mechanic. The truth is that the game is wrong by not better indicating this part and forcing you to at least have a tutorial on how to do it. 😔😔
If I remember correctly after collecting a lot of optional shit you unlock an optional/joke character in Hercule and he is HORRIBLE 😂
Unlocking Hercule is in the previous game DBZ Legacy of Goku II, where you have to collect all the trophies of the characters being at level 50 and if it was horrible !!!!! same as the series!!! 🤣🤣🤣 In this game you unlock Gogeta, collecting all Z Exhibits and all Hercule Exhibits 😁😁😁

Although they did not continue with the GT saga, there is another game in this story for the GBA. Although they don't compare in terms of quality, it is a decent beat em up. It's called Dragon Ball GT Transformation.

Is this game too easy, or you are just overleveled? I'm planning to get this game, but kinda looked boring if all you do is just mashing attack repeatedly.
It becomes a little easier if you level up and the status of each of the characters, but it can be difficult for you to do it. 😉😉😉
