You know what it is. I'm not here to target anyone or start drama. I'm gonna be brutally honest and talk about things that should change. I love creatures of cringe so much and I'm not about to let idiots or bad representatives ruin the game.

dude one time, when i was new to game ( this was like 7 months ago), there was a crypt at plains, and i was a ext, i tried beeing nice and they attacked me, ofc, i retaliated and made them run away, i went to redwoods to heal.
Later, i came back and the crypt brough its friends over to try and kill me. Long story short, a noob player kills 3 tier 4s
also why did they have to nerf ext, that is preety sad imo.

Once I was talking with some ppl in lobby some said “I can already see the dante thirst traps” I said I don’t think the community would do that then left I woke up went to check my notifications and saw I was banned for NSFW just annoying no warning either

I was playing as gorg I think in a server full of KoS at oasis a kora came by and killed the KoSers then they spent a HOUR whining in chat saying the kora was toxic and a KoSer
i once met 3 people and they were an elder crab and 2 elder iztas and then some tier 1 started ankle biting them and they started crying and panicking in chat. then the crab gets to like 3/4 health because of the ankle biter which they still hadn’t killed and people are telling the crab to go into the water but it just sits there crying and it seriously thought it was gonna die because it was on 3/4 health😭 then 2 people started kosing but the crab and one izta just ran away when they could have easily killed them. i went away from oasis after that but they were still being huge crybabies in chat and i thankfully left soon after
Once, pretty long time ago, when i wanted to buy an Aeries (while not having discord, sob) it was very hard for me. And one day, i encounter a CC, so i calmly asked her to buy her Aeries for 36k. I didn't said something like "PLS PLS PLS I WANT TO BUY AER PLSPLS" or "Can i buy aer? It's my dreammmm😭😭😭", but then about 2 minutes passed, and her friend attacked me fiercely! "DON'T TOUCH MY PRECIOUS CC, HOW DARE YOU? YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES, SO I WILL TEAR UP INTO PIECES!" That's how them were overprotective and ready to finish me. I absolutely don't know what she said to her friend, but it was something really, REALLY terrible😥...
Luckily then after some days i encounter another CC, and they finally sold me Aeries SP, and my 3 months leght journey getting aeries species is finished long time ago.
Before this situation with toxic CC, i didn't know they can be THAT toxic.
I met and knew a very toxic content creator (which I shall not name) however so power hunger/they strived for any server for moderator just to ban anyone for a singular swear word.
It’s the main reason why I don’t interact with CCs: it’s either a variety of them are toxic or the small pool of 2-3 of them are kind.
Overall, very good video: I agree with most points
there is one group where they go ‘you can’t kos anymore’ but I seen many killing for no reason in mass ranges, both are problematical however.

cos has been going downhill since tthe beta, some players are extremely toxic over some pixels that can easily be revived and willing to send death threats over things that take minutes to grow. idk if im just lucky but i’ve met multiple mods, rcs, testers, ccs, translators and even an admin but none were toxic. some creatures are so unbalanced right now, teir 1 and 2s turned from ankle biters to ankle devourers and the devs/testers keep nerfing things that don’t need nerfed.

You haven't met any bad ones because, well, there aren't many! Sure, there are bad mods/testers/cc/devs/rcs/etc but ... not enough to be a huge problem. The ones that do the things mentioned in the video are almost always demoted/banned.
I liked how I’m used to cc meaning closed captions so to me it kinda is like “OH THE CLOSED CAPTIONS CALLED THEIR NINE FRIENDS TO KILL THE TARGET”

Thank you so much for making this, I used to play Sonar Studios games back then and I loved their games to death, It was fun, but they always had flaws, especially now, overpriced in-game items, toxic communities, scamming (a big issue said to NOT be prevented by devs) and so much more. I was an original beta tester for creatures of sonaria, I loved it, it was fun, people were friendly and most KOS players were usually not hard to deal with, now you can look at the game and see HUGE AMOUNTS of overpowered, unrealistic creatures wandering the map, its all just a show-off game now, same with the Griffin game they made recently, all the people at spawn just sit around and show off how much robux they have singularly spent on a digital game, when the game is about ROLEPLAY and STORYTELLING, people decide to be lazy and just use the game as a chatting hub, I bet their are some roleplays in that game but its not like one of the older roleplay roblox games likes Wolves Life or anything. Its all just people chatting when their are many other ways to hold a discussion with somebody.
Also all the new creature designs for COS and DA are obnoxiously busy, especially COS, having every creature look like a god isn't fun, where are the actual realistic animals? I get that it is an alien planet but its the fact that if you just watch a COS video or just be in game you can see most players that might look like they are playing as a strong demonic creature able to summon earthquakes or something. I lost all my trust for Sonar Studios after some "allegations' to which aren't addressed to this day.
I won't name call but a dev working on the team (i actually don't even remember their tag or anything) was working on desert dragons for DA, they made some really cool designs that made me wish they were added, the wiki pages for the dragons they designed are very long gone, deleted probably in request of the dev or by the team or something. But from what I had heard, they had gotten kicked off the team for an unfair reason, and treated unfairly by ahem, the main dev, cough cough, which I don't think has been talked about or fixed since the issue happened in sometime in 2020-2021. I really loved Sonar Studios games, but they just made their game super unfair and full of flaws, impactful or not.
Again nothing against any person, but I wish the sonar studios games had a different team, Im not blaming them but the way they moderate and develop their games isn't to mine and many others likings.

I hope you continue to spread the word, but just as advise, when you start laying down your claims, I highly advise you provide screenshots and proof! Like examples of the art theft or screenshots of the bad behavior. Otherwise it will be hard for some people to understand the gravity of the situation 👍
About toxic testers: i have a perfect example of one. So i complained about constantly being chased around the WHOLE MAP by one koser and that i didn't want to fight anyone. A beta tester (he probably was a koser in question, but i can't really confirm that) said that im weak and a loser. I asked "why? i simply don't feel like fighting right now" hethen answered that people like me will achieve nothing in life an i eas like "dude, it's just a stupid Roblox game, it's not real life". The funniest shit is that he answered with "Roblox is life" the most neckbeard basement dweller quote of all time i swear. He also later admitted it (Roblox) being the only joy in his life. Wtf
i’m sorry that happened to you, people who’re rude over small things and that chase others around the map for just one kill when they could’ve probably killed more people if they didn’t are so annoying. some cos players are really strange and honestly need to go outside and touch some grass but beta players arent testers, just normal ppl who played when cos first came out

I hate how people get away from the survival aspect in the game I miss the times around when ken was not redesigned and everybody had a near chance to kill anyone- one time I literally said “*Drinks water*” just to see what people say and the near entire server went “omg ew role players” and then started throwing a baby tantrum I wasn’t even planning on roleplaying- I also missed the time you could invite people to ur nest and not get a “ew I got an egg inv” or something toxic for no reason like I really missed doing packs and the survival aspect of the game was just so fun to me tbh
Yeah it ruins the whole survive or die aspect that it made it special, no pvp mechanics, and nerfing things that do not need to be nerfed and buffing things that need to be nerfed
I remember one my friend and I were playing cos together while in a call, they were playing as a verdant and I was playing as either a ghibli or aereis (I literally don't remember which one lol). Some person playing as a baby truth came up to my friend and started attacking them, but they flew away everytime my friend tried to fight back, so I killed it for them. Then the person started crying in chat about how the truth was stored, so I said they shouldn't have tried to attack someone then, cus obviously that would result in the risk of them getting killed.
They proceeded to send me a private message where they said something along the lines of: I'm going to "rip off" (I have no idea what that means but ok) every bone in your body in the most painfull way possible. (I still have a screenshot of it lmao) Both my friend and I reported them and I have never heard anything from that person ever since.
I've also gotten many death threads, plus people telling me to commit self delete over a bunch of pixels. And then people wonder why I barely interact with other people in this game lmao

I think that the cos community is salvageable, it has good folks! The issues lies with the team, not all of them but a big chunk of it. Ery included (Just terrible)
Besides being toxic, they just dont know how to balance the game. I really think if you replace the toxicity with healthy people and people who have good planning skills, you’d get some massively good results!
I've had my fair share of bad experiences with the game (both in legacy and recode,) but I've also had some great ones too, such as the 2023 winter event, which was the most fun I've ever had with the game
Nah i've seen the opposite. I've seen kosers harass and witchhunt other players (me included) off of the server for killing or making their precious kosing creature log. Many kosers whine about the game being a survival game but they're the first ones to use oasis as a hangout simulator. So many kosers can't accept the fact they can die too, and send their whole friend group against you over you killing their eyebleed magenta korathos or some crap like that.
Oh def, most kosers are anti-kosers in disguise. They dont consider it kosing when they do it, but when it happens to them they throw a fit and make the entire server stink. Ive had a few instances where ive killed a koser (to assert dominance) and i was harassed for god knows how long
Kosers have made the game unplayable for me a few times. It's an easy enough fix usually (just enter a server with very few people) but I don't understand why people get so mad when ppl complain about kosing.
I've had an encounter with a toxic koser recently. They got all mad that people fought back and killed them and the whole server called em out for it. Well of course people are gonna fight back if they get attacked.
BOY HOWDY! Not sure if you remember me, I was the gal who made that “Thanks for playing MI!” Comment awhile back. If you do, Remember the part where I said; “I’ve been there since the start?” Yeah, MI/Malgamations Island/Primordial Lands has been through some rough times all thanks due to Sonaria.
There’s been all-too many times where Sonaria did some shiiitmata unprompted to the point where saying they’re doing that just because they’re toxic and hate other competitors isn’t far off, I remember VIVIDLY when Ery BARGED into the server when it was STILL in primordial/Baby phase and argued and lashed out at everyone in the general server because of something I can’t quite remember but be assured it was really petty. (I think it was about designs or community backlash, not sure.)
The funniest part and also the part that told me I really shouldn’t support Ery nor sonar happened when she had her hissy fit in the server, I was there minding my own business when I see the udder chaos unfold and decided to respond to Ery saying she needs to chill the hell down, she responded with something and soon after left when she realized she couldn’t just lecture an entire community over something she deemed wrong. Soon after I decided to join the Sonar server for Sonaria and chatted a bit, the FIRST thing I saw was a moderator being unprofessional and ban someone with most of the Bee Movie script. Leaving a rather SOUR taste in my mouth I digressed, trying to chat when all of a sudden ERYTHERIA PINGS ME AND SAID I LOOKED FAMILIAR.
Not wanting to get smites out of the server for going against it’s apparent GOD I try to suck up so I can try to interact with the people there, apologizing and saying I was sorry. I got blocked, you might think it was she was salty but NO apparently I had “SHADOWPINGED” HER (This was before the now system of pinging, STILL) AND HAD GOTTEN BLOCKED SINCE YOU CANT REPLY TO DEVELOPERS MESSAGES NOW??
MAN, it’s a little obvious I’ve been waiting to tell that story and you wouldn’t be wrong. Ery has done a lot of things not to just MI but many other games because the thought of having a good and healthy rivalry isn’t a thought in her mind. That along with the fact she kinda killed MI’s player base due to her constant harassment of us and possibly getting people banned from her game and server if they played MI. It’s honestly upsetting considering how much I love Sonaria’s creatures and weird mechanics but be run by such a honestly mean person.
There’s also been ALOT of times where Ery and her team copied designs off primordial/MI and only ever removed them when the outrage was too loud and obvious, that also. If I’m going to be honest there’s probably more times she’s attacked MI for simply existing or trying to inform others of what happened, Ery is kinda a bully who can’t stand if things don’t go her way and I hope she either realizes she should attempt to make amends or step down completely.

Her latest design, Quezekel actually looks pretty similar to the Flugops and Hinvar, if they had a baby...(and yes i remember you lol)
@@the_catbat I honestly forgot about the event going on, but that was honestly my first thought also! There’s many other designs that are way too close for comfort, especially the Prabiki design and one other I forgot but is a flier. I think the most damning evidence proving Ery stole designs was that one aquatic in Sonaria that was eventually removed or redesigned that was just if Axdoodle was fully aquatic and had fins for limbs.
I know absolutely nothing about sonaria and it's developers but they sound like if a circus decided to make a game tbh they should go join the circus at this point 😂 with how comicly upset they get over things as if they had zero brain cells in their brain.

@@aragami8741 I know! They aren’t stupid, most devs are apparently just trying to do their job while Ery stomps around. I’ve seen many videos calling out what Ery did to MI and her responding angry and salty to videos with less then 2k views, from my knowledge she’s a very childish and catty owner who cares ALOT about up-keeping her image no matter how she does it. (She’s terrible at that also, ALOT of people are aware of her behavior.)
I feel like she has some sort of God complex y’know? Confronted me firsthand knowing well I was a MI fan in her server to intimidate me as well as barging into ours thinking she can just “discipline” an entire server against her due to her own choices and get angry when she get’s the complete opposite reaction.
It’s all very agonizing to just learn about all the problems she’s caused, heck I’m not even mentioning her UGC problems! In the end, all I can really hope is tell people my side of the story and hope one day Sonaria can make up with MI or at least apologize.
@MokoiAruka Damm why doesn't roblox terminate them at this point like there is enough proof for roblox to do so all someone as to do is simply compile the proof together and send it to roblox because I'm sure that death treats and evt things that they did are just as worse than what other players did to get terminated and made this whould either humble them and teach them a lesson in respect and consequences for their actions or they whould throw a toddler tantrum.

I left the game around the time where the first one of those.... sky, land and water quest thingys came out, and i have been playing since beta. The main reason i stopped, was because of the speed at which new creatures were coming out, and i was getting a bit burned out when i was getting all anxious over not having enough to get, since i always try my best to collect everything in the game. I understand that a good survival game has a lot of options, but i think that it has been too much for a while now, especially with the amount of limited creatures, which makes a person even more stressed out over the fear of not gettng it in time. For me, the prices for everything are also too much, and about 80% of the servers i joined, at least half of the server was toxic. I really loved this game, but this got tiring pretty quickly. I gave away all my creatures for free, so i guess others could have fun as they still enjoyed the game.
actually, i really experienced something soo much selfish in COS. Like for example. one dude wanted an Xeternos for an auraron. I traded the xete, + some mush, and he didnt accept, he wanted me to delete the xete in trade and add something else. And i was pretty angry becuase i did a fair trade, i just moved on and never traded...

I remember when I was playing and chatting in a server, I got attacked by 3 people just because of a slang word. The argument was so ridiculous and toxic that I just remained silent.
I also got forced many times to pvp with people, all of them were pretty toxic
And don't get me started over the horrible values caused by the hype.

I think this its a good idea spreading awareness about the COS community. Everything feels like it's been going downhill, and as a CC Ive just felt pushed away from this game I used to love because of the toxicity around it. Still play it casually, but I've been moving my content away from the game to avoid bringing any of this nonsense to my channel.
Loved pvping with groups of friends, now it feels like the game is a grindy creature collecting chore with toxic players screaming at you for killing their creature when thats literally one of this games main mechanics.
Oh yeah and the weird ways people treat me due to the fact that Im CC makes me feel even more alienated. Of course most people are chill and know im just a person too, but the amount of players Ive seen either hate my guts on sight or worship me and beg for aer specs is staggering. Had players at multiple points privately spam messages and attempt to guilt trip me into giving them an Aer, its ridiculous.

I stopped playing the game because of the unnecessary nerf of the haunt dragon plushie. I literally grinded for that thing and i was so happy when i got it but they nerfed it a few months later (mightve been a year, but still it was pretty upsetting)
Also the people that want revenge SO bad- i was just minding my business as a minawii when someone started attacking me. I attacked back and killed them (i dont remember what creature they were but they were a little bigger than me) Then they came back as some really big creature (again, i dont remember what creature.) I just ran away because i knew i couldnt take on that creature and when i was running i was thinking like bro im literally just a minawii 😭-. like i get it if you want revenge but dont you think thats kinda an overkill?
Anyways im back playing the game, it changed a lot and for right now i havent met toxic players
I really stopped playing a while ago, but I stay subbed to some of the CCs because I'm an artist (not for the game obviously). I love a lot of the creature designs, and I get some inspiration from them! They help me with drawing the anatomy of some funky designs I already had in my head because I can simply draw the creature in my style, find a way I like to draw it, and switch it to be the thing I was previously having trouble drawing. That's all, since I couldn't play for a while, then the recode came out and I just couldn't handle the switch.
Now I'm honestly glad I'm not going back to playing.

I very much dislike the devs and their drama. I am a vet player. I hate how many creatures have been added, how the devs are too lazy to make new calls and I hate the people who gather in one spot!
I love this game. It is extremely addictive and the creatures are cool. But I loved the beta more!
I haven’t been playing since beta but around way before kens redesign- I used to love making packs with people and growing and having a more realistic gameplay, and then raid the oasis because oasis sucks
But now you can’t even send a pack/egg inv without a “EW I got a inv”

I remember playing the game for a long time, and in my experience, everyone just got toxic over sometime. Like once, I saw someone send death threats to someone because they accidentally bit them. And for the nerf thing, I 100% agree, i remember that tarakato thing i think, got nerfed because of its attack. Now, I don't really play cos anymore because of how negative it got, let's just say, it's hard to see a game you loved so much and played so much become...crumbled, like paper. I think I'm a bit late tho. Nice video tho!
A friend of mine, and its I think been a year since this happened, maybe not (I could ask them LMAO), once joined a art competition and literally used the 3D models from cos as a reference and looked at pictures of them and got disqualified for "tracing". I don't think i've seen anything quite as annoying and stupid until then. I don't have many other notable stories to tell, that i can think of.
i was obsessed with this game for about 6 months. it was the first Roblox game i played.
I was still in highschool and was basically using this game as like crutch for my self esteem. basically, my only value was my value in this game. The gacha mechanic gave me a genuine gambling addiction. if I wasn’t actively playing, i was afk farming. I usually had the game open for at least 12 hours a day. it was very bad
eventually i ended up making a few videos, because i tended to make videos on the games i was playing at the time. Most views i got on a video was 30k? i forget. Anyway, as a depressed high school student, it got to my head. I NEEDED to get views or I didn’t deserve to live.
my time with cos ended when i tried to make a redesign for Brequewk, as a joke. I’m not really much of an artist and im not familiar with any art etiquette. after making my initial sketch on paper, i used the original concept art as a base for my redesign. it was mostly a misunderstanding, since i thought that’s how you were supposed to create redesigns.
Anyway, got instantly banned from the discord, which caused me to have a genuine mental breakdown. the one thing i had to prove that my life was valuable was now gone. and random people from the discord decided to take it upon themselves to dm me death threats, and to tell me i was a disgusting art thief.
years later i still struggle with a gaming addiction, particularly any game that has anything that’s luck based. until recently, id have a panic attack if someone even *mentioned* cos. I still can’t even think about it for too long.
my only wish is for this ‘game’ to crash and burn. im really glad i found other creature survival games to play that are more authentic

Something that always bothers me is when random ass players will barge into your hunt/battle thinking you're kosing someone. Like one time I was fighting with a Lus because it stole my kill while I was eating it and when I went to get it back some other creature (dont remember what it was) barged in and started attacking me and wound up killing me. Like I don't mind losing in a rightful fight against a player or a pack that I messed with but it bothers me so much when random ass players barge into your fight thinking they're doing the right thing. I also agree with how annoying the people who cry kos are. Don't get me wrong, kosing is still definitely a thing, but it's really annoying when you're just defending yourself/killing for food and they start calling you a kos and getting their biggest t5 to kill you or something.
Finally someone makes a more detailed video about this, these are the reasons why I quit the game a while back, it just wasn't pleasant to play anymore mainly because of the community

Damn, I’ve got a story for you then. So, back last year in the legacy map, me and a friend were trying to kos, however, there was a cc there playing as a coniferon. We both got frustrated and chatted how annoying healers were and how much I disliked them, and the cc and all their fan girls start attacking me verbally over an opinion. The fact these cc even gather a huge amount of people ingame is because these “fans” just wanna friend the cc and use em for money lmao. I wont name who, but it was somebody on the CZcams platform.

so i wanted to be a recognized creator a few months back, and before this an RC commissioned me for some art (wont mention name) so i thought i would talk to them about their experiences as an RC. immediately they stopped me and told me not to become an RC because of how the higher ups and erythia treated them, i was pretty shocked and honestly pissed off, so i tried to help start some sort of uprising. long story short, the why i left cos doc is now out, and the artist roles have been removed. I’m really sick of the nerfing, I loved miju and jot when I first got it but I feel like they’ve both been nerfed a ton
The nerf creatures that dont need to be nerfed at all but then keep their over powerd system of a down creture just as powerful,especially with invisibility being as powerful as it is.
I feel like the game’s entry barrier and community is very steep, i played the game for a few weeks before giving up on it but all the players were still very aggressive and rude af to me (not talking about being hunted for food i respect that since its part of the game, but the social entitlement was crazy) through and through
Since the beta of sonaria LEGACY version... there's been a TON of things that have been going wrong over time.... and as a beta player myself who put my trust into them to make the game better I am disappointed.
So here's a few things I hate about this community:
1. TOXICITY! There's a lot of it. It has been ramping up pretty fast, a lot more people are meaner and you will probably see at least 1-2 arguments *DAILY* if you play.
2. People get mad over someone killing them! They call them a *"KOSER!!"* even though they were just killing for food. I see this happen a lot with people who are small creatures... saw a video on one who was a minawii and got so mad they spawned like 2 thunderstorms and like *7* volcanos...
3. Revenge killers, obviously. You know the deal with these people, you know what they do. They're usually the people who get really mad really easily.
4. Toxicity in higher ups, not just specifically in CoS. I've heard mods in GD are EXTREMELY TOXIC and will ban you without warning. Never encountered any toxic ones though. *I have heard that CoS devs and higher ups did bully other game creators who made survival games similar to theirs in one small way or another.* They shut people out and silence those who speak out against them usually.
5. Concept theft and such. You know the deal here. *(Technically I got my idea stolen with the [Jabblebashhe] but thankfully I willingly wanted to get a creature like that in the game!)*
6. Carelessness. They don't really care for their community honestly, they ignore people, they think they have all the power. (Heard Ery doesn't like doing coding more complex than just numbers...)
7. THE SHEER AUDACITY THE TESTERS HAVE TO SAY THAT SOMETHING IS TOO OP SO THEY NERFED IT WHEN IT CLEARLY WASN'T (talking about the sniff ability).
I've killed several creatures for attacking me, only to have them literally hunt me down across the entirety of the map, yelling slurs and threats. It's awful.
I really enjoy the game, it's fun and I absolutely LOVE creatures like Saikarie and Phyremia and Fellisio, but it's barely even fun anymore. Everything costs 50 million dollars, whether its the trade realm or just the robux and tikit creatures.
I've been called a koser just for killing ONE small creature. ONE. It was a Fernifly I killed because I was starving. And they started screaming koser and to report me for bullying. I didn't even do anything.
I've had my account banned for a day or so for "spamming" in the trade realm. It was one message whenever the last message dissappeared.
It's awful !!! This game's community is so awful and rude.

As a person that played this game since beta, im just kinda sad how the game went. From a more survivalistic game to some kind of grinding hangout world with babies that just kill because they want and almost 0 survival because of meat spawners. I kinda miss the old creatures alien-like style that encouraged to be more focused in making packs of the same species and hunt togheter when hungry. Now we can see swiming crepes, a jet, an ice cream strider and many more. I dont mean that i dont like the designs because lets be honest, Most of them are amazing, i mean that with all this fantastical and "unoriginal"* models (*: the creatures being heavily insipired in real life animals and objects) it slowly discourages being a wild animal and instead hanging out with friends and other people next to a lake all the time while praying that any beluva kills you in 2 bites. I just want this game to be more survival like, but i think its going to be hard from now

I'm a vet with Dragon Adventures (as well as cos), seen the rise and fall of it all, they've nerfed almost everything about it (like leveling systems, outright took out player leveling mind u, dragon breaths is at an all-time low, etc.), elements are gatekept until breeders get there hands on it and give it to the average player (usually u buy around 200 robux for one element potion if it's special), DRAGONS ARE GATEKEPT, You can no longer breed special event dragons (I mean fair but they were hard to obtain back in 2019), and the list goes on.
Oh, and recent old designs of dragons got swapped for newer models without giving us the option to keep the legacy models, lovely.
That's with JUST the game and studio alone, players are just as toxic as cos players when push comes to shove :) (don't get me started on the beggars tho)

Also the creature review can always be done since they are supported by aereis, that still not the worst part, the worst part is that many small disgusting anonymous channel start to appear, beg for attention so that they can get aereis, the system has made some desperate people choose the patheic path and become a bad video spammer with low to none effort put into it, it is the death of creativity from all side

I played during beta and enjoyed it a lot, but recently I haven’t been playing as much, last year I probably didn’t play at all and only this year did I decide to log in every day to get a Felli spec, which I ended up doing twice, I believe because of the Halloween event keeping me active. I looked at it for the first time in a while today and after remembering my bad experiences the last few times I left the game and I doubt I will ever play it again.
I killed a person once, it was a small creature, can’t remember what it was, I believe I was my Vah, they came back as a Jeff and tried to kill me, I just killed them once! I didn’t even los or anything! It was for food
I once sent a joke to a translator because I thought they were chill with it (they roleplayed in chat and I thought it was funny enough to try and joke with them)
So I sent it then and when they just texted back an "uhh" I instantly deleted it and told them it was a joke and to forget about it
Turns out a few months later I got banned from the official discord server for "Sending inappropiate messages yada yada" (It was a literal meme saying 'I like it when boys whimper')
I seriously think the higher-ups think I'm some kind of bad person but I'm a literal 15 year old (soon to be 16) peruvian girl that sent over a little joke and then deleted it when I saw a negative response

I was banned from the Discord server for crosstrading during a time when Creatures of Sonaria was my first Roblox game and, as a matter of fact, my first trading game. I wasn't familiar with trading at the time, and even less with the concept of cross-trading.
My ban was not removed, but I suspect that a criminally toxic player I dealt with might be responsible, as I know he had close ties to a moderator or admin. Even weirder was that my two other friends were both banned for cross-trading at the same time as me. I am still convinced to this day that he got someone to falsely ban us. He pressures kids into giving him robux and blackmails them, so I can totally see him do something like that.
As a new player that played this game for 4 days, I'm still confused what is the purpose of low-tier creatures
We need a second part please if can! There's so many true things that have been said about this video, and barely anyone speaks about it. I have to agree about the cc part, some got a cc role over the most laziest things. Like pvp/kos channels, why do they have to get a cc role if they just kill? And they get rich too? And there should not be a cc requirement for tiktok considering it's an app with 500m+ users daily.
I won't even waste my breath talking about CoS.
But I can give you a game suggestion, Kaiju universe, Outstanding community, good care for CCs, DRASTICALLY better PvP and pretty decent balancing, and overall great models, animations, map and so on.

Just a short story that I don't really remember from KU but just to tell anyone who's reading this how people are toxic and rude there: I was farming to get (probably) godzilla singular point, and a Christmas edition kamata flew over me and started to sky camp on me, they had level max and were just a silly runner. When I got them low enough, they ran away and started to cheat on me like if I was a loser. They were also lowkilling me and stealing my kills, like.. I JUST WANTED TO GRIND SOME EXP, LEAVE ME ALONE.. and then at a time they were distracted and I killed them.
Well they got so mad at me that they spilled up the most rude and toxic words I've ever heard. Thry were acting like a freaking crybaby just beacuse I actually killed them once. They started to yell "L you lowkilled me" and stuff straight up ahead to that. I calmly tried to answered them that I just needed some exp, not a big deal and why wouldn't they just pick on someone else. They started to yell even more things at me, not to mention the fact they always said "EZ" "EZ" "EZ" , or "LLLLLLLLLL" like thousands times when I died ONCE to them or died to someone else on their eyesight. Thanks god I had support of a friend when they joined in and helped me get rid of them. We decided to leave to dont get harassed anymore since I really can't control myself when I get mad.

tbh the game itself is boring and empty, i tried it after years of not playing and i immediatly got killed like 3 times by the same guy, then when i actually managed to survive it was just the same pattern of hiding, drinking water, eating and repeating. i would play it if everything interessing wasnt unecesserely hard and not fun, but seems like the devs are more focused on making an absurd ammount of creatures and events that are very confusing and most of the times boring as hell.

I’ve played since day 1 of the beta, and even though I’ve played it multiple times, I’ve always hated it/had a bad feeling about it. I kinda have a sixth sense about bad games, but I also think Erythia is a massive POS and I just knew this game would be her magnum opus of toxicity. The recode is what made me quit.
Bugs that have existed from beta were either not fixed when it ‘fully released’ or covered up with gorilla glue and tape, an example is the old Axothan model having broken resting animations since day 1 but they just ‘fixed’ it by remodeling Axothan. Certain creatures also have very annoying color bugs where the coloring reverts to default on certain parts no matter what you do, the most prominent example is Boreal Warden, which I spent 2 hours growing it trying to fix its broken coloring to no avail; that was the first of my ‘I quit’ moments.
Events are grindy and unfulfilling, but that was to be expected. Dragon Adventures didn’t have very outstanding or even fun events until after Erythia left. Imo the events don’t mean anything to the conversation here since they’re all boring garbage-
Erythia is already a person who radiates toxicity and attracts toxic people, so having a game where PvP is a focus point is sure to turn out great. Killing anyone, whether for food or even because that person was killing for sport, instantly labels you as a KOSer and turns you into enemy #1 by complete strangers who don’t have any context and are just making assumptions. This is a problem with animal survival games in general, but CoS’ players are especially vindictive about it. The pack system also sucks, all it’s really useful for is protecting you from your packmate’s attacks and since packs don’t carry over to the menu (and since this game is more broken than the windows of a store robbery) going to the menu tends to just put you in a perma-pack where you can’t invite people or leave the pack, so don’t make a pack unless you plan to stay the same thing the entire time you’re battling shrieking kids.
(Another tiny thing about the KOSing situation that annoyed me that I forgot to mention: the game used to have bots a long time ago. Like Dinosaur Simulator, NPCs you could kill for food. They were removed for whatever reason, I think the reason given was pathfinding bs, and now we just have the inconsistent meat gods whenever someone is starving. I feel like once bots were removed, PvP got turned up to 11 for obvious reasons and I always thought the reason they were removed was just an excuse to cause more player interaction and carnage)
The recode was the nail for me. I don’t have bad motion sickness and have never felt sick playing a game, but dear lord did the recode’s camera nearly make me throw up. The recode buttons also make no sense to someone who hasn’t played before, or even someone who knows what all the controls do like I do. When I first played the recode early access, I found the gacha menu and then proceeded to get lost in the menus and couldn’t find it again until later. I even showed my friend a screenshot telling them to find the gacha menu and they said it took them multiple glances. Speaking of my friend, they played the recode once it came out and had an equally bad experience as me and we agreed we’re probably never touching this thing again, we had already hopped in and out of playing it and we currently just returned from our 6th or so hiatus from Dragon Adventures, so safe to say we probably won’t go back, and if my friend does I’m not following them (I just tend to follow my friend if they’re playing an old game again, they never coerced me to).
Extra thing about the recode buttons, when my friend showed me a screenshot while flying around as their Angelic Warden, I looked at the control buttons and decided to give each one a new name. We got:

Honestly, the death threats and such are one of the many reasons I keep my chat open to report them so that Roblox can deal with them. I honestly wish the Discord would open a reports channel for ALL their games because I've seen inappropriate acts in all of them. From death threats in CoS, Inappropriate names (like b***hdragon, yes I saw someone with this name for their mother dragon.) in D.A, and people doing the devils tango in G.D. It's all disgusting and this is a children's platform, I understand when it's funny like in CoS when the wall glitches and your constantly going up it while there's another person or in GD where you and your friend are just cuddling as shipped fandom characters/non fandom characters, but the true stuff is disgusting. I have seen a lot of youtubers and TikToker's who are absolutely horrible to their fans or toxic to anyone who isn't following them and if they get called out, suddenly 50 Iztajuatl's join the game and nuke everyone. I've never seen a dev or tester be toxic, but I am sure it happens. This is why there needs to be a reports channel, so these people can be called out and have consequences for their actions. Not to start drama, just to make sure they learn their lesson.
I honestly loved how you made sure you were not starting drama with anyone, because here on the internet, saying one wrong word could end up with your channel gone, and it's sad.

It’s just that there are some key aspects in all of their games that are missing, such as replayability and optimization. I play when an interesting update comes out, I get disappointed over not getting the season dragon in time, I get bored, don’t play for a month, and come back. This harms their games, along with the dev drama going on and not letting the community handle some stuff (choosing the next ss dragon for example)
Sonar studios after stealing kids money on their games (literally, take Dragon Adventures for example)

art contests - this is just my opinion, but I do not like art contests at all, i feel like a lot of bad stuff surrounds them. it could be just to get free art of their characters, but thats just me
toxic cc's, mods, testers - there are gonna be some mean people out there, that is just an inevitability with any community, and its hard to avoid tbh. i try to be nice to everyone, but my entire channel is based around KOS and combat so i'm 100% sure some people out there don't like me because of times i've killed them in game, or died and came back to kill them. and that's ok if someone hates me, you can't control hatred. i accepted that fact when i started lols
unnecessary nerfing - i believe you've only scratched the surface here, i could actually hop in a vc with you and talk about stats and balancing for hours LOL, but overall to me I think it's fun that stuff is always changing and stuff gets nerfed and buffed, its more of an ever changing environment, but it's understandable how people have a tough time keeping up :)
kos crybabies - not much thoughts here i think they're really funny lol
revengers - for me i think it's really cool if someone i kill comes back as something bigger, its a direct conflict between two players and it establishes a big of a story, but there are some bad sides to it definitely. ive done this myself a couple times, only when im playing a tiny thing that dies in one hit though :P

Let me say something as well. I was really annoyed with kosers in the past but have grown to just accept that they are a part of the game, it is actually very entertaining to kill other players.

I played since cos was not even named cos it was once called creature of agarthara or something similaur, ( somebody tell me how to spell it I am too lazy) and I seen all of the stuff from nerfing and even watched childish and straight up horrorible behaviour from cc, devs, testers and even the current owner eythria. I feel like they should have just changed the map and keep the creatures the same because it was at least some what balanced in legacy.

Ive had a similar problem but on wcue- ive found out that most games like wcue or kaiju paradise or cos have VERY toxic communities or staff, and im so done with it to be honest.

it is annoying when you save up for a trial creature, spawn in and marvel at it, then in 5 seconds someone comes up and kills you then continues to not eat it

I've stopped playing CoS becoming of the crappy community and the game in general just going downhill. It used to be so fun and barely anyone got so pissed over being killed in a survival game. AND WHY DO THEY NERD SO MANY CREATURES 😭 MY OLD MAINS ARE WEAK NOW
In a way Creatures of Sonaria does suck it used to be so good back in the days but now it's just a bunch of Ko's getting there laugh's in, I played as a Pierry and as a baby I was killed 3 times by the same player and as an adult I was killed again while sitting on a nest they didn't even eat my corpse and then I had two people literally gang up on me, most of the people playing Creatures of Sonaria are toxic and this is coming from somebody who absolutely loved the game.
Wings of Fire beta will always be better especially the community.
I played this game 6 months before, I didn’t know how bad the state of the community was now, it feels bad because another game I loved has got this exact thing happen to it

It's... scary. I make COS content over on tiktok and I'm definitely not becoming a CC because for one, my language, and two, I'd rather put effort into a community that's not a shithole.
I did make an entry for one of the contests (It was a blood moon jot going after a ral, it looked much different compared to MOST of the fucking entries and took me FOREVERRR since I'm mostly a human and fandom artist) and most people selected were high tiers, or very active people.
Another thing that happened a while back was I joined a server with a CC, not naming names. But I was being ankle bit by one of their friends and obviously killed them because it was annoying, I got FUCKING SWARMED and cowered bc I couldn't use breath nor abilities due to the USELESS ASS LOG TIMEOUT.
Also Sonaria keeps adding huge tier 4/5s, making the game very unbalanced PVP and realism wise. We don't need anymore T 4/5s imo, we need more small "background" creatures that'll be actually fun to play as. They also need to stop adding new gachas and new creatures WEEKLY. I would take the current US economy over the current COS economy, bc guess what! BOTH are shit!
This game needs to fucking change, I'm sick and tired of having to spend countless days grinding for a creature I like just to find out it dropped in price a WEEK ago. I'm sick and tired of having to deal with CHILDREN screaming in chat that they got killed in a SURVIVAL GAME.
There needs to be change, and soon, otherwise Sonaria will die, and quickly.
i miss the old map so much. the game is so stale and boring now
i beg to differ, the new map is WAY more balanced. i remember when seeing a fully aquatic creature was a rarity (unless it was a chamei trying to get attention). but now with the map being atleast 40% more water, people are actually able to be aquatics and have fun.
Btw u can go back to the legacy map in settings, there will be a button saying "legacy" or smth like that

I havent played CoS in a bit now. It’s sad to see how the community has taken a turn, as the playerbase turns extremely toxic. (I have played since beta, and I can tell you there is usually always at least 1 fight in ever server)
Not calling anyone out but some of the younger cos fandom needs to chill a bit, many young pa=layers are used to "Legacy" where nobody really hunts its just hang out and kos, While "Recode" is more of a survival game, people will hunt and will kos :] Btw great video, glad to see more awareness on toxic players and communities
Yeah I don't like most official content creators if I'm being honest. I also have a problem with kosers too, especially ones that kos in big packs and literally chase you around the map. It just takes every ounce of fun out of the game and is incredibly irritating. Like I just want to play the game and play as a cool creature, is that so much to ask? I wish people would treat this more like an actual survival game rather than a battle royale game
I mean to be fair, I personally like when people hunt me. 😅 There was this guy who was playing this big demon human face thing. I don't know what it's called but it made it so exciting because everywhere I went he was hunting me.
It's a survival game so not everyone is going to play the exact same way and for me, feeling as though there's an element of danger or something stalking me just made the game 100 times better
Yeah it got boring plus I know it’s a survival but just how easy it is to death to smaller creatures and how unneedly hard it is to get a revive made me lose almost all interest

yea I only keep playing this game cuz I sometimes get bored of playing the one other game I play regularly

But im hoping the recode will help but I think I seen some people group up (could be a pack or a group of friends though) im hoping the same thing doesn’t happen
