- Here i take a look at all the summons in the game and their stats at level 26 and level 50. There is also a competition to win 50 shards for a summoner of your choice which closes with the first vid i do on or after 21st Feb. #Tacticus #Summons #Competition
- Hry
I laugh every time I see Abraxas summon a Screamer - he looks like an overdressed fishmonger slapping out flatfish on his counter
Aleph-Null’s potential to fill maps is a bit RNG heavy but those scarabs can quickly become a nightmare…and him being a mechanic gives him great utility after the summon.
I love the Winged Prime, summoning the warrior to shoot Re'vas in overwatch and summoning a hormagaunt in their melee range will never get old.
I do this a lot in the arena, after I released the winged prime, I never had a problem with re'vas in the arena again
Yes! I run 4 Nids and Archi atm. With Neurothrope I got gaunts being summoned. The Warrior is almost like another team member. He can annihilate scrabs if they are next to each other. The gaunts taking out units with resilience for that last 1hp. Then you have synapse everywhere cause of the warrior and prime. Well, leaper can now use its active to go anywhere and instakill its target. Love Winged Prime, and love nids all around. :)
I personally adore Aleph Null for the Scarab Swarms, and I've participated in tournament arena battles where the winner is the one who can out heal the damage while the other half of the field is covered in those cute little mechanical nightmares! On the other hand, I also adore the Snipe Drones from Sho'Syl because of the potential for them to team up with the New Adeptus Hero Exitor Rho will make for an entertaining and frustrating battle as we figure out how to effectively counter the Mechanical Summon Spam!
Thank you so much for this video. I was usually using Aleph but I'm leveling Bellator right now to have some imperial help. Eventually I'll focus on chaos hopefully but I have not done a good job sticking with just a few leveled up teams. Too much love to go around in the 40k universe. Thanks again.
Bellator's tankyness, ease of acquisition and synergy potential make him my favourite
Love Aleph-null and my scarabs, they carried my guild raid/arena performance early in the game through their replication and sheer number of hits, but they can also be very effective in arena as a nuke option against their initial target.
The addition of the Admech and their synergy with mechanical summons may yet be giving them a new lease of life, too.
I'm really fond of the guardmen, having Yarrick then Creed using their abilities flood the game with so many of them (and even a second activation for the first ones).
For TA - I hate (and therefore love) Celestine. Everytime I see her icon my heart dies a little. She tanks so much damage thanks to them, flies everywhere and then the rest of her team kills you.
Not sure if you know but if you surround her before you deal damage she won’t summon and will just die. Still incredibly annoying having to do it but I’ve been able to lure her into tight spots and take her out quick fairly reliably
@@Hot_Dice the problem with Celestine is that you need to strategize around her instead of other four members
Njal counters her fairly hard, so does Jaeger.
Great vid!
Mine is snipe drones for sure.
Shosyl is so useful in all game modes(excl. campaign)
I love Ballator and his Inceptors - after auto attack at the beginning of the turn, they can be triggered additional time by Bellator, adding even more damage. Bringing Aethena and Eldyrion with them results in insane output.
I love the Tyranid Prime because it allows you to summon from other parts of the team and not just itself. I really hope the 5th Tryanid has synapse to further spread the love.
Most likely it will be long-range, I would like him to summon termagantz so he can combine with the winged prime's hormagants
I love Sho'Syl! Only pulled them yesterday (finally) and couldn't be happier - took them out for a brief spin in Onslaught and really enjoyed the feel and sound effects of the sniper drones. Really looking forward to the Exitor-Rho synergy :D
Love Abraxas' summons and the shenanigans you can pull with yazagor in the right situations
i was thinking to invest in winged prime, your video makes my mind to do it. thanks. and it can be my favorite too.
For characters I actually use - Celestine’s Geminae Superia make her such a tank and often times finish battles for me. But it is so satisfying in Onslaught to wait til a late round and summon a horde of Poxwalkers with Corrodeus.
Thanks for the video, I was hoping someone would do this.. Necron Warriors are my fav..
My favorites are: Celestine, Winged Prime, and Yarrick. Thanks for all of the content!
Great vid! My pick is abraxas who is extremely useful with neurothrope
Big love for shosyl, some shard would be wonderful! Great video!
I love the way Abraxas summons make short work of destroying any group of clumped up units/characters
The Winged Prime is so absolutely versatile and the fact that he keeps pumping horms out constantly is so useful
Really good comparison between lvl 26 and 50! Thanks for the spreadsheet, I always wondered how the summons scale late game. Sadly I put so much badges into yarrick 😅..
Only missing Summoner is the Saint herself and 50 shards would be awesome! She is the bane of all pvp modes
Bellators and his inceptors. So much to like about them. Gravis armour making them tanks, quite high dmg for a multi hitter, can be triggered twice if Bella attack adjacent to them, flying so can get to difficult locations. Only massive downside is they're numbers are turn based but aunshi can help with that in guild raids.
I really love Abraxas summons because he summons multiple types of them and the pink horrors have effectively two live (if they're not overkilled) by splitting up into two smaller ones.
I love Sho'syl, the fact that you can continuously summon sniper drones throughout the battle makes them extremely dangerous. The synergy with other mechanic units like Aleph-Null and Actus make for some fun combinations!
I love Abraxas' summons, and with Yazagor to assist you can do some crazy size army!
Aleph-Null. Though not the greatest, their heal at end of turn combined with the scarab swarms duplicate ability is really strong and due to summons priority for opponent AI then they can take alot of hits and protect weaker unuts.
I love how the Aleph-null summons can interact with other characters and the enemy, protected with the Tyrant Guard the can survive a lot, a lot of synergies cross factions, and the aggro they take. Truly the MVPs when it comes to trying to max out medals on the Indomitus mirror campain
I do love Tan Gi’Da because of the meta-mechanic of the summons moving and with great synergy with other mechs. Really keen to see how this further develops.
I love Aleph-null scarabs' mechanic.
It' fun when you fill the screen with scarab swarms :)
I love all the summoners , I love a lot the Winded Prime, but the most eficient and the one I love to use is Abraxes. Plus the spell is fun!
Love Sho'Syl! Those murder sniper drones are really good.
Tan Gi'da - limitless tanky summons are amazing; and his active swap allowing his surrounding alllies to strike again is a real game changer for mechanical summons.
I love the new tan gi’da and his skitarii summons! As soon as I unlocked him I leveled him up to gold 1 and he helped me so much in unlocking and then upgrading aun shi in his last LE event. I feel indebted to tan and the skitarii
Abraxas and his summons is a classic since you get him just to do the chaos campaign at the start. The summon I still hold dear in my heart is the lowly Guardsman. Unlocking Creed first to have the summon ability then bringing along Yarrick to have even more followed with Thoread before the retool had fun to be had in the TA.
Love Abraxas. Nice model and awesome in GR
Abraxas was definitely fun, when I got to try him out for during the character quest!
I love Belator. Seeing the Inceptors fly in is always great. Also the fact that they soak up so much ballistic damage is great
Re’Vas is my most hated, (and therefore “favourite”). They keep that monster alive and therefore overwatching like a beast.
I really appreciate Bellator and his Interceptors. You get him early, he's quite tanky with his Mk X Gravis rule, his damage output can compound alongside his Interceptors, and he pairs up well with other characters like Isabella, or Aun'Shi for example. a humble workhorse of a summoner.
I got to give my love to the OG Archie. Nothing better than seeing a tank of a character getting surrounded by blood letters and getting taken out. This competition is coming at the ideal time. I'm just in the process of grinding for Abraxas. I need him to help me finish off the FoC campaign.
Gotta love the Tyranid Prime. Nids have always been my fav, hoping the 5th Nid will also be some sort of summoner to help with the 'swarm' feel.
Sho'syll and the sniper drones. They deal so much damage and effectively act as shields for the main man himself, making an otherwise squishy character actually a rather tanky one. Love your vids!
I love the idea of Tan’Gida summoning high pierce Skitarii that will trigger the Exitor Rhobot turning into an absolute blender. Hoping to test this against the battle tank after getting rinsed last guild season!
I personally love SHO'SYL because she’s the only character with a range of 5 which makes her seem more unique and interesting. Plus she’s hella strong.
My favorite summons are bloodletters from Archimatos as they counter psykers and if positioned wisely wilhile summoned zone a large portion of the map. Second for me is the scarab as they start to crowd the map again can be great for zoning.
Got to love the winged prime also, not only is it a model I love from the miniature range and 40k game, I just love the Tyranids in general. Wish I could spawn more warriors and gaunts with the faction generally
The tyranid prime really makes you feel like the Swarm and overwhelming with numbers, there is smtg special about that
Congratulations you have won the competition. Please can you send me an email at noxtempestyt@gmail.com and i will be able to email you the code
I am definitely digging the Winged Prime. The Nids are fun and so very different than other factions. Can’t wait to see what unit they bring in for #5! Put me down for those WP shards. Cheers!
The bloodletter is king in the Fall of Cadia campaign, but mostly as a distraction, though they can also dish out the damage when required
Necron warriors: using scarab summons + makhotep gets them out maxed by turn 2 after the enemy spent their whole turn dealing with that threat, then Aunshi lets him pop put 6 more. Feels the most lore accurate. Necron overlord sitting back while an endless horde or warriors overwhelms them
I love diving Belator into an enemy line and pinning off tricky characters like Celestine or tanking an overwatch shot
Winged prime is my current favorite, I love how those summons get summoned, quite unique
Once I got Abraxas and really leveled up his summons I am just loving them more and more, especially for farming purposes because you can just flood map on turn one or two, let them get you a lightning win in short order.
I love Shosyl with his sniper drones, the damage plus the range is just lovingly.
I love the skitaari marshall tan gida. The new ad mech synergy has some insane potential and im already using them all in the arena with revas and morvenn vahl. The Marshalls doctrine is really powerful.
I’ve been loving my new Skiitari marshal Tan Gi’Da. He’s amazing at getting extra attacks alongside necron warriors and sniper drones in the arena. And getting a summon with every attack is amazing for distracting some of the tougher Ai!
My favorite by far is Abraxas, i've been using him since unlocked in GR and of course in TA having a tone of fun.
Archimatos is my favourite - normally easy to get out a lot early which can normally act as meat shields for the next turn at least (combines well with Yarik who can then replace them with better ones)
I use the scarab Swarm, Poxwalkers, and Skitarii. The first two I enjoy watching proliferate, the third there is new to me. BUT my favorite are the Inceptors with their six attacks.
Love Sho'syl, those drones really tickle my fancy
Anuphet is hands down my favorite. I use him with the warriors to clean up in arena. Never mind them pounding through the campaigns!
Big abraxus fan. Love to pair with neurothrope for maxing stacks almost instantly.
Although I love Sho greatly, I have to go with Winged Prime as my favorite. The Warrior has stats like a mini character and since it can trigger the Prime’s summoning passive, it’s just so fun to summon your own tyranid swarm. I have heard he sees niche use on some adjutants but I hope they get a more useful role in the future.
For my (very new account) vanswear will be bloodletters. You can spam them very much on round one and it gives multitude of not so important targets for AI to waste their turn. Damage is just additional bonus for me
Archimatos is my first summoner, and after a while I was not disappointed in him. In the arena you can pin down almost any opponent, you can safely take on guild bosses, he feels good in company. If you're lucky, you can make a fool of Revas and his defensive drones. A very versatile character.
I have alwAys loved the Tyranids even outside of this. They are my favorite faction from Warhammer to this day. So whatever I can do to be able to summon the ones I love the most I will always try my best to get there. And seeing as the Tyranid Warriors are fantastic really makes me adore this game even more. So Winged Prime takes the cake for me.
Archimatos for look and concept. What a great design!Filling my enemy's skin with daemons from the warp make me happy.
Tacticus has been my first foray into 40k, and Archimatos stole my heart right from the beginning... until I had to face a Celestine. She does so much more work than I ever gave her credit for, and I would love to see 50 of her shards. Thank you always for the informative content!
I loved using Abraxas during his quest. So much positioning him to get the most summons.
Favourite is Re'vas, just always really liked crisis battlesuits
The best tinboi ever Tan Gi'Da. I love AdMech (they got that drip) and it's nice being able to constantly resummon extra bodies. Also did I mention I have 3 Marshalls and 60 Vanguards IRL?
Aleph-Null is such a goos early game. Has carried me so far, and the feeling of the screen filling with scarabs is amazing
Greetings! Here goes my two cents.
First and foremost, I'd like to say that all summons in Tacticus-to varying degrees-are generally better positioned in terms of performance and usefulness than most characters, as they have a direct impact on the survival and sustainability of the team as a whole in almost all modes of Tacticus-especially Legendary Events and Campaigns-to a similar or even higher degree than healer characters. I am pretty sure most of us have at least one or two stories of battles that seemed unwinnable and were unexpectedly resolved, thanks to various summons and their summoners.
Of these summons, relatively recently released Tan Gi'da's Skitarii Vanguard and Winged Prime's Tyranid Warrior and Hormagaunt are some of the best, as their versatility and synergy with other characters are literally endless.
Of course, there are many other summons that are far superior in terms of their specs alone, and it's also true that neither Tan Gi'da nor Winged Prime's summons are yet mandatorily demanded against certain Guild Raid bosses (for example, Bellator's Inceptor is an imperative against some specific bosses).
However, having played Tacticus for a long time (to be specific, from day one) and having leveled up numerous summoner characters and their summons to LV 45-50, I can tell you that being able to summon summons over and over again in a single game without any strict restrictions is an immense benefit. Sure, there are some Summons that are self-replicating, like Scarab from Aleph-Null, and some that are summoned whenever an enemy is removed, like Archimatos' Bloodletter, but I think that Tan Gi'da and Winged Prime have the most straightforward requirements in the current meta of the game to summon without any special restrictions or conditions. Furthermore, these summons are arguably the best summons in the game right now because they are not only easy to summon, but they also facilitate an incredible amount of combos and synergies with characters of the same faction (or even with those who have the same or similar traits). Their potential for utilization and growth is verbatim endless.
Lastly, many thanks for the intriguing topic and excellent and informative video, as always. Cheers!
Aleph-null is my favorite. It and its scarabs carried me through the indomitus mirror campaign even though the rest of my necrons were very weak
I love geminae superia because they are always there to tank the damage on my celestine. Making her a real threat in TA. Though i think the game should tell us if there are 2, 1 or 0 remaining to be summoned in case of damage taken on celestine. Anyway, thanks for your videos, love the content :)
Winged Prime is my fave summoner right now - especially for the TA since he and his tyranit warrior can be quite deadly
I currently love Archi for TA, his summons can quickly dispatch of a mispositionee enemy and also prvoide good sponges for later rounds.
The Alpha Warrior is my favorite.
Given there's currently only 4 Tyranids, I've taken to sending in my shiny new Aun'shi as my 5th. I use his active to reset my Winged Prime's active and summon a second alpha on turn 2.
This way their shields alternate and they each can summon a Hormagaunt each turn. Absolutely floods the battlefield with hungry chitinous death. It's beautiful 😍
Inrtceptors are really nice, good blockers, multi-hit to take out scarabs and work really well with Doom.
Winged Prime is my favorite character, love the nids, love strong summons, love its appearance. Really wish it was better for raids, but I always use it in arena. LIVE FOR THE SWARM!
I love Tan Gi'da and all the tricks you can do with the skitarii and other AdMech!
Just loving the classics, Bellator is my favorite!
Corrodius and the Poxwalkers are slept on. They hit like a truck and can create more upon defeating foes!
I am a huge fan of the scarabs. I even modeled my pnp rpg Lancer mech after it! 😂
Shosyl and sniper drones are awesome bro!
My preferences go to Sho'syl, its drones can snowball if not killed fast and kicks really hard.
Love Shosyl and sniper drones, good damage output and serve as shields/damage buffer to protect shosyl, especially in TA, arena
Aleph-null has carried me through some close battles. The swarm multiplying is a life saver
Abraxas when he pops off is so satisfying, esp with the yazaghor combo!
i love abraxas' summons because of the shenanigans and spam, but I love necron warriors and scarabs because the scarabs multiply quickly and the warriors are relatively tanky and Makhotep autohealing them every turn makes them a massive threat in the right situation
Love the Abraxas/Yazagor summoning combo. If done well you can end up with a mob of summons, including the pesky pink horrors. Love it how they split and make it more cumbersome for the opponent.
Ever since I've gotten his passive up, I have to give it to Re'vas with the sniper drone. They tank for him, they do fantastic piercing damage, they hang around and refresh themselves each turn when you attack, and they have a super far attack range. It is really interesting considering that in 40k proper, the Tau really don't interest me that much on the tabletop. I guess I can say he's found a special place in my black(legion) heart.
I love playing aleph-null with its scarabs, its so great once they just duplicate out of control and cover the entire map
It's all about Archi and his Bloodletters. They just look so cool!
I absolutely adore the Grot Tank, it feels amazing to summon an unkillable bulldozer that has great effective range (movement+range). If you give it some time, it's fun as hell to both play and face.
Love abraxas.
He was the first character quest I participated in and he single handedly carried me all the way to leg. I didn't even have any TS characters lol.
I think the highest chaos I had was like bronze something.
He has carried my chaos campaigns and gets me 3 badges without fail
Bellator and his bellaboys.. I like seeing them descending from the sky and attacking the target affected by eldryion's doom.. It always gives me arcade style "high score" vibe😊
I would love to have Wing Prime. Always great to see it in play on TA. Have been a huge fan of nids since the 90s and it's also the reason I installed Tacticus. Shame I only have 28 shards (and that's the closest I have to a tyranid being unlocked).
