- In this video, I gathered 100 Minecraft players to recreate Civilization in Minecraft. Everyone only has one life, so they better be careful. Players are divided into 4 different regions. There are the Plains, Desert, Jungle, and the Ice. Each region contains different items and maybe more rewarding than others. The players will face different events, and eventually, go to war. Who will survive till the end? Sit back, relax, and enjoy this incredible story!

From watching this over again, I've realized the jungle was the least organized nation, but ended up winning. It's crazy how the ice and desert really didn't wipe through everyone. I figured they would've won when I died. Overall a great video, I loved the editing.
I think the mod Keilite was there??? Big fan of his work!

Sophie was definitely the greatest, peacefully uniting a divided peoples, and dying for them in a battle against a stronger force, while untik ran, he was the survivor, not the hero.

Fun fact relating to volcanos : in 1816 on in Indonesia had such a massive eruption that 1816 is called the year without a summer. This popped in my head after he mentioned the volcano island in the middle.

Loved the video @Elite Eric! Can't wait for the Sequel to this Man! I think using a Somewhat Normal Minecraft Map, with at Least 3 groups in Each Biome (Jungle, Desert, Taiga, Ice, Plains and Mesa/Badlands) and no more than maybe 1,000 Players on the Server might prove for an Interesting video. But there are a few Caveats to this to consider.
1). If the Team's are of the Same Biome, then they can be Placed about 10-12 Chunks apart. If Not, then they need to be Placed about 16-20 Chunks apart.
2). The Team's will start off in an Area of 16 Chunks by 16 Chunks. (Note: 1 and 2 are taking into account that most players will have their Render distance set to 32 Chunks, Therefore the Starting Area and the Spacing of the Different Teams will make Locating anyone else Difficult to some degree.)
3). The "Hunger Event" will Take Place After about 30 Days in Game, and will last for about 60 Days. This is to make it into more of a Surprise to the Players, so that they are lulled into a False sense of security and think that the Rules were changed to omit the Inclusion of the Hunger Event.
The First 3 Caveats will effectively take up the First Full Season of Minecraft (93 Days in game). The Remaining Three Seasons will be divided by the Following Milestones.
• Day 100, Players can Explore the Rest of their Biomes or the World Map. They will, However, Need to make a Map room with a Map at least 5 Blocks by 5 Blocks in size.
• Day 200 (Roughly), Nether Exploration can be Allowed and the Quest for Netherite can start. Alliance's should Be Forming right about now as well, or at least Relations between different Teams.
• Day 280-300, By now Alliance's should have been formed and possibly cemented and End Exploration can be Allowed. The First Team or Alliance to Kill the Ender Dragon and Collect the Egg will be Seen as the Leading "Superpower". Players will need to place Banners of their Nations to Mark End Cities that they've already looted.
• Day 310, Pillagers will likely make their Runs on the World Map by attacking from Heavily Defended Outposts and Fortresses. They will start by sending Companies of 170 Pillagers (Company HQ of 6 and 4 Platoons of 41, each Platoon having 3 Squads of 12 Pillagers and All Pillagers Having Enchanted Crossbows Representing the American Military Firearms of the Second World War and Named as Such; M1 Carbine will have Mending, Unbreaking III, and Maybe Quick Charge II. M1 Garand Rifle will have Mending, Unbreaking III, and Quick Charge IV. M1928A1 Thompson Submachine gun will have Mending, Unbreaking III, Quick Charge IV, and Maybe Multi-Shot II. M1918A1 BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) will have Mending, Unbreaking III, Quick Charge IV, and Multi-Shot IV.) But will slowly Escalate to including "Armored Units" (I.E. Tank Companies) of up to 17 Ravagers (Company HQ of 1 or 2 Ravagers and 3 Platoons of 3-5 Ravagers) and Eventually a mix of different Units. The Arrows they fire will have either Power or Punch Enchantments along with Potion Effects like Nausea, Blindness or Harming to further add to the Firepower Players will be dealing with. The Pillager Buildings will have a Mix of Blackstone, Basalt, Cobblestone and Dark Oak Wood with a Bit of Andesite and Diorite mixed in. There may be a Building that has up to 6 Rooms with up to 4 Random Villagers or a open 9 Block by 13 Block Area that's "Fenced Off" with Iron Bars and Cobwebs with up to 8 or 10 Random Villagers, These are the Prison Cell's and the Prisoner of War Camps. They will have Random Villagers of Various Jobs and Experience Rankings to Prepare Players for the Final Days of the Challenge.
• Day 340, The Endgame: The End is Near and Doom will be upon the Players. Up until now, They had no idea of what was to come. But out in the Night sky, a Bright Firey Light comes Crashing down to Earth. A Spaceship from an Unknown Alien Race with Better Weapons and Gear have come to check this place out to either Colonize or Destroy the Entire World. Should they Deem it necessary to opt for the Latter, they are to place 6 Beacons Powered by Netherite, Diamond, Emerald, Iron and Gold Blocks around the Ship to protect Them. The Team that Grabs the Beacons and Places them down at their Base will be the Winners. Players will have about 15 minutes to rush to the Beacon to safety otherwise, they will be killed off.
• Day 372, A full Year in Minecraft has been Achieved. The Team that Placed the Beacons down and the Surviving Teams will be Named to winners of the Challenge.
If you want to really spice things up, you can Collaborate with other Minecraft CZcams Content Creators who have done something like this like bstylia14 or Magic Gum or Bring Minecraft Content Creators like DanTDM, Fwhip, or even Small name Minecraft CZcams Content Creators like Metricate or PythonMC and have their Communities try the Civilization Challenge!
I like the mods acting as gods. Maybe if you do another Minecraft civilization video have the groups split between gods (mods or selected people with immense power) and have one godless nation?
The Sand team did really well, too bad they got unlucky in the end.
Honestly, I think admins should be like gods/goddesses and the contestants should make temples and sacrifices/offerings to them.
I loved this like the other 100 player civilization stuff is almost always super soulless, but it was amazing so if you do another one I’m totally in

You should do this again but with a mod pack that allows civilization to avance to modern times with phones cars and other cool modern stuff. Also a natural disaster mod should be included aswell

Llama sticks really played the dessert nation real well
For the next one to spice it up more I suggest the same hunger affect but milk doesn't work since plains had a huge advantage.

I do have a question, is it possible that once someone dies, they're permanently moved to spectator mode instead of just banning them? This way they get to watch the world go on as a ghost until the end.

Yeah actually we did a second event and it was much much better. We managed to get a better server that didn't lag. But for this being our first event I gotta say it was alright.

Do a video on 300 hardcore minecraft players simulate on a island that is 34% swamp, 33% 3 different nether biom, and 33% desert. But is covered in wither skeletons and regular skeletons that spawns multiple by 3 once every 10 days.
