#colinfurze #pizzabike #insta360 - Zábava
This turned out AMAZING, i think you could actually use this even if you didnt cook on the way but on the doorstep. Check out the Insta 360 they are very useful camreas so a great sponsor. Puzzles will be gone soon so don't miss out.......AND work has started on Phase 2 of the tunnel but am i going to the bunker or the car????
Hi
Since you did say you wanted to expand the bunker a bit anyways, I'm guessing bunker. Anyhow, hyped to see it regardless the direction it takes!
Car, with a lift!!!!
I know you like the bike, but I mean, you can have pizza...
It's gonna be winter before you know it. Better get that car on the lift side done first! Haha
This is like a real-life Wallace and Gromit skit. Wallace would be driving while Gromit makes the pizzas with ingredients going everywhere. Fantastic Colin!
Aardman…?
Cheese 🤤
@Del HogGrated moon bits...!
More cheese Gromit!
Ottimo formaggio Gromit
One of the best creators on youtube. Hard working, never cuts corners, makes an honest living, has never changed who he is, consistently amazing content, money and fame never changed him. Much love brother ✊🏽
When I was a child, there was a guy on my town that had a VW Kombi and put an oven on it, and did exactly what you did, while his wife drives to your house he made the pizza, problem was that in that era cellphones didn't exist, so you had to order it previously to be delivered in the evening.
Colin, to flatten a ball of dough into a nice pizza shape, use a stainless mixing bowl turned upside down. You'll have to squash the ball of dough a bit flat to start with on your board, lubricate the stainless bowl with semolina or wheat flour and you can virtually pull the partially flattened dough into the desired width and thickness by pulling the dough down using both hands either side of the bowl. Of course, avoid ripping the dough by pulling evenly on the dough's surface. Et voila, fast and easy pizza base!
Problem is this removes all the air from said dough. Never roll or squash. Always stretch/push out and if you can learn the fling, do that!
@Karl T The dough was partly sour dough and produced the best fluffy texture inside, and a beautiful bubbling on the outside edge that would slightly scorch. Together with rustic Italian style toppings, those pizzas won national comps several times. They were cooked in a conveyor oven with stone tiles attached to the conveyor at 400 deg C for 100 seconds. That high heat for a short cook produced the best results. Don't worry about the air in the dough. All was perfect.
General workshop tip that did miracles to me. Whenever im working on a project and looking for something i misplaced in the shop: don't try looking for it, it will probably be out of sight anyway. Just start putting your tools back in their respective spots and tidy up a bit. I guarantee you'll find your item quicker and your workshop just became tidier at the same time. Win-win
the bit about the angle iron helping to bend the cone shapes (5:54) is so wholesome!! such a great way to put it, one big learning circle lol. every time we get on the internet, its a chance to learn and pass on awesome ideas to each other, and inspire greatness in ourselves and all our friends!
I just love the fact that these vehicles Colin creates are in no way legal to drive on public roads but he just doesnt care. Mad respect
Still safer then people that drive fast full size suvs. Lol
@Grimm Gaming aka WankPanzers.
Not sure about the legality of doing it on the move, but there's a business near me with converted Land Rovers that'll drive out to you and set up outside your house/workplace with pizza ovens in the back.
And he's only been arrested once!
Nah its legal number plates, indicators and brake lights
I never cried this hard out of laughter in my life! This is peak comedy right here, and an amazing idea, I would pay so much for something like that.
One of the best projects to date, and the production quality of this video is top tier. Peak colin is back, cant wait to see more
This could actually be a good concept if you had a portable pizza service where you ride to the customer, then make the pizza in front of them. It may be difficult to fit everything nicely on a bike, but people would pay for the unique experience.
Perfect mix of awesome engineering, crazy tinkering and hilarious comedy. Colin, you make the world a better place 😊
@6:45 its refreshing to see someone as skilled as yourself admit you didn't know something and appreciate it from someone else. Uplifting message indeed!
Just imagine driving down a country road and passing by 2 uncooked handmade pizzas. Thanks for giving someone that experience Col.
That sums up lincolninshire lol
It's lincolinshire for you :p
I guess if you live in Lincolnshire and experience something awkward or strange like fresh pizza dough on the road, it's not far-fetched that Collin has something to do with it. 🤣
Plus a trail of random pizza toppings.
When I was a kid we only used to get roadkills. Now it's fricking pizza!
This is the kind of batshit crazy ingenuity and silliness I subscribed for. Glad to see you back on your game, Colin!
12:50 when Colin is explaining the somewhat sketchy looking tensioner system, then cuts to him absolutely ripping it, can’t be that sketchy after all. He’s truly a wizard.
can’t help but think how cool this man is the whole time
i had no idea he could shred on a bmx like that! keep up the amazing videos colin we all love ya 💪💪
Every time I see Colin has a new video, immediately my reaction is "Uh oh. What's he done this time?" complete with a stupid grin on my face. Can't wait to see what you get up to next, Colin!
I could watch an hour long video of Colin simply riding the bike around at 13:01
This is GENIUS!
About twenty years ago I had a vision of having a floating pizzeria above VEnice, air dropping fershly baked pizza with "sky lifts" ...
I would use drones today, but I still think a Zeppelin based floating Pizzeria would be marvelous 🙂
This was hilarious!
Well done, for all of the hard work that went into this masterpiece 🤣🤣🤣
Every time I see that Colin has a new video, I get the same initial reaction: "Oh no. Why has he done it again? accompanied with a silly grin on my face. I'm excited to see what you come up with.
This is the most amazing idea I’ve ever heard and as someone who has received cold food from delivery I really want this to be a legitimate delivery service
I just realized, that a big part of my love to this channel is because it's an evidence that not everybody has to become a grumpy grown up.
Thank you Colin, just keep going!
Helps when you hold onto that imagination instead of letting the world dictate how you should act
Makes me feel better about still preferring Skater shoes over any other style/type.
@Brian Schaaf Agreed! I love chunky skate shoes. Even got some steal toe ones to wear at work :D
Yes, one of my favourite projects for a while. Had me giggling away like a man half my age.
@Brian SchaafThe vocalist for disturbed said he removed his iconic piercings be cause he didn't want to be "a 40 year old Hot Topic kid". I, on the other hand, and like you, wear my childish attire with pride! 😅
This is fantastic. I can feel the pure joy in every moment, even genuinely liking the sponsored camera.
That looked surprisingly delicious! And now i need pizza in my life, just before bed.... Cheers Col! 🍕
This is just such a good video!! Well done Colin and friends for this one!!
I've been following for years, and your videos always give me good feeling after watching them. But I think this one is the best so far. Amazing work and thank you.
This was a fantastic video. Loved the tank bursting, the. Bursting again, then the Pizza falling on the floor 😂, then hitting the only hole in the field. The Pizza's looked good. Great job.
can we all say just how good colins bmx skills still are !!!
He's already so talented then he just goes and shows off more skills!
He used to be a competitive BMX rider.
Flatland
Lol legitimately saw it and came down to the comments to comment about it. I had no idea that he was that good at BMX.
@Sean Fuentes Lol same I was just about to make a comment about that.
Absolutely brilliant haha what a piece of beautiful craftsmanship you’ve made, also you made a live heart pizza for Tom haha
Out of all the crazy stuff you build I think this actually has business potential. Get some copyright on that bad boy! 🎉
This is so hilarious. I don't know how you always surprise me with new awesome silly ideas. Thank you Collins
I love how he still spends time telling us why this is a good idea
Love how after dropping the pizza he starts to do another take and then just decides to leave it in
This is the most on-brand thing I've ever seen from Colin. Look how much fun he had doing all of this and getting the community involved!
Dude, I'm just amazed he can ride flatland bmx. Been watching years and never knew lol.
i was thinking the same 🤣@Squelchy
For bad weather you could turn it into a Tuk Tuk style motorbike with windows and a roof covering the back, possibly some side wheels for stability. The customization possibilities would be awesome.
This man can build anything with right tools….❤
This is brilliant - you could even add some sides and a roof to the pizza preparation area so all the flour doesn't get blown away
I can't admit to really understanding all of the technical details. However, you do the MOST FANTASTIC JOB of explaining simple concepts simply. Keep it up and may your tie keep you safe, @ColinFurze
Colin, I was a bit concerned, unnecessary as it turns out, that you would begin to run out of ideas for content without repetition. How wrong I was…this project has made me so happy 😂 it is bang on crazy, dangerous and unique, I am in awe of your talents and ideas.
This is a true throwback to old great Collin! Love it
Yes, major food truck vibes...just missing the complete pillow suit
Another happy customer!!
*Breaks real hard
Fantastic! Absolutely love this build! Also, to solve those last two problems, clearly you need to make a V2 that is like... one of those motorized trike transports perhaps, where the back has a cover and a wider seat... little back seat kitchen.
... though at that point you almost would be better set to just use a food truck... even if that is the more boring option xD
Love it brilliant idea, Colin you always bring the entertainment 😂
Absolutely loved it. No other words to explain it.
With the part of the practical application, can make a canopy covering the oven and the rare rider to handle any wind problems and weld 4 metal bars in square shape inside the oven where the pizza is kept for baking so it stays in place.
@colinfurze Need to make a windbreak for the prep table--maybe just put a small wall on each side from the face of the oven to in front of where the pizza cook sits.
Bonus: If you flare it out so it resembles a trapezoid shape (small end at face of oven), you''ll have room for a small utensil storage drawer and spice rack on either side of the prep board!
i think if you pre-pressed the dough and kept a sheet of wax paper between each pie you could probably fit more in the dough slot and speed up your prep time. add a rack for a second pizza stone and you might be able to cook two at once
The part where the chef was pleasantly surprised by the cook was great 😂
Love a good one part project video. The long projects deserve the parts, but it's nice to have the full story for something fun like this in one go
Haha Colin you tool!! Not sure I’ve chuckled this much during all the years I’ve followed you. Another great video and I found it hilarious! Keep up the great work 👌
I seldom write a comment, but this... Absolute beauty of a video! There was so much packed in, I need to watch it twice. This is youtube at its best. I've been a subscriber since I can remember and whilst every video is amazing, this is one of the best I've seen in a very long time! Well played Furze, and thank you!
The giggitys were class 😂
Cheese eating surender monkeys - if you know you know
You monkeys
@colinfurze my day has been made! 👔
I absolutely loved this video. Something not pre-planned by some sponsor with looser fun goals. It's like Colin furze 5 years ago! It's awesome that Mario approved too. Very impressed he was able to male good pizza shapes on the go.
I can't wait to see the underground garage idea finally become a reality. That's going to be an insane build.
This should straight up just be a thing. Imagine ordering a pizza and it comes to you fresh out the oven 🤤
Beats the pants off of those Dominos cars with the warmer oven built into the back door.
A company tried it and it failed pretty badly
yeah that but in van
@dark fury
White van pulls up
Hey kids you want pizza
@dark fury I've always felt that food trucks don't really utilize the full potential of a truck.
This video is just a delight to watch, start to finish with a smile on my face. Colin's inventions are just from another world 😅
Your ideas always make me laugh but this one actually could be a business if a few more safety features were installed like an oven door so it didn't fly out, a strap to hold the chef on to the bike etc... brilliant job colin
What else can I say besides AMAZING! everything, including the pizza-bike's authentic pizza and its rustic appearance. Nicely done, Colin!
My dad worked for a place that had pizza ovens in a van, they'd prepare it at the store, then load it in the oven in the van and drive to your house. Often they'd have to wait for it to finish outside the house then bring it to the door.
thanks colin i laughed constantly for 20mins your a lunatic .......... brilliant my friend keep up the great work never change . my favorite channel
Imagine using an online ordering tool, but as soon as you send the payment it skips right past "the restaurant is preparing your order" and goes straight to delivery. You think it's an error, and are half way through composing an error report when you hear Funiculi Funicula playing in the distance, rapidly approaching. Pizza is coming for you, it is inevitable.
How dare you turn a dream come true into a vague pizza themed horror story
And please, please... stop with this Funicoli Funicola cliché. Italy is wider and more diverse than most of people think. Peace!
@Stupido Cane We're all very well aware about the depth of Italian Culture. No one has forgotten about The Renaissance Italy blessed us with.
3:30 I didn't know you could do that on bikes, that's impressive!! Please show us more of it!
Honestly i think this is one of your best videos of all time. Great Work :)
This is fantastic. The thing I noticed watching this video is how much I was smiling, genuinely enjoyed this content.
Regarding the hydroforming, I'd love to see a field test (literal field) of what would happen if there is a large amount of air in the system.
Thats actually incredible. My first job was working at a sbarros pizza in a mall. The difference between a sbarros and a dominos or pizza hut is we actually made our pizza dough in house instead of using frozen dough. The only thing we didn't make in house that we could have done was the sauce. That came to us in a large can. But learning to toss dough, the right amount of sauce, cheese, peperoni, etc, cook time oven temps was all really cool. I think that was the only job I ever had that I truly loved but the pay was horrible. I think it was $5.25/hr back then in 2007. When I left that job I some how ended up with their cook books. The one thing I wish I could get from there is their chicken wings and figure out where they got their mozzarella. Their cheese was special. I dont know what it was but it was the best cheese I have ever had.
I love how Colin isn't alone in his head, looks like he breaks into tearfull laughter on his own and that's why I've been subscribed for about 15 years.
15 years? The longest I have been subed to a person is 8
My first Furze's video is the WALL OF DEATH, and I've searched his channel and it's 15 years ago! Oh my God! I've also been subbed to this mad channel for 15 years!!
I love how Colin isn't alone in his head, looks like he breaks into tearfull laughter on his own and that's why I've been subscribed for about 69 years.
I can’t believe this video is a video that really was thinking to make but I never found a pizza oven like this!!! Congratulations amazing video btw ❤
thank you Colin for entertaining me in the last 10 year like nobody else
This is one of those inventions that could actually work really well in practice.
Colin, this is amazing. I keep asking myself how you will outdo yourself next, and then you show up with THIS! This brought a massive smile to my face, but not nearly as big as the smile on the people you served! Well done sir!
I came across this guy just recently in the recommendations, this guy paves the way for the future of inventions, I'm so impressed!... If this guy goes "back to the future" I wouldn't be surprised at all, lol...
This has got to be among the best Furze projects. Quirky idea, awesome build techniques, and a great final product that could even go into production and become a new thing in the culture. Well done, Colin!!
And of course in the process a bunch of explosions and food being blown all over the place!
@leftaroundabout Thats a bonus!
@leftaroundaboutsounds like a win-win to me
That's actually a really good idea. Save so much in time and costs while delivering freshly cooked pizzas.
I love how he could have very well used a van and used the back for this purpose, but he decided to go for a bike making things more complicated, but more stylish at the same time.
Getting the pro pizza maker was a beautiful touch to perfect the concept!
I watch all your videos partly because they're great content, but mostly because I don't want to miss any tunnel updates. IDK why the tunnel is so appealing, but it is. If I could afford the steel and concrete, I'd try to build my own.
If a pizzaria had a bike like this, I'd exclusively order from them!
I expected this to be a half-joke half-hack, completely unserious episode, but I was blown away by the results. Impressive, as ever, Colin 👍
Colin, you never cease to amaze me. Thank you for all your good content.
This is fantastic! Classic Colin Furze project video 😂... outrageous, over the top, and just amazing!
Haha this was my engineering 100 project, except yours actually worked. We only planned for it (in a panel van) and determined that it was cost-prohibitive to do (or else pizza places would have already done it.)
Happy you see it come to fruition after all these years; well done, as always!
I remember thinking of a more sensible version of this as a child: a small van with a pizza oven in the back that cooks the pizza en-route. I'm still surprised it's not done this way.
Brilliant! Food delivery will be changed forever!
Colin I have to be honest. This makes me smile even more than the Bunker-Saga. I did not think, that would ever happen, but this is just so amazing. I really hope you get to have lots and lots of fun with this.
Thanks thats a really good comment.
I really want him to get an estate agent round who doesn’t know him and get their reaction and a value for what on the outside looks like a very ordinary uk property
W comment, which is extremely rare nowadays. Good stuff!
I smiled like an idiot the whole time. One if your funnest videos for sure! And I loved watching the chef on back. It looked like he was really enjoying himself. Well done!
I give credit where credit is due, Collin makes awesome content! Always original ideas and he goes into detail about what is going on through every step of the way. Keep doing what your doing man. Love the videos!
i am telling my kids EVERYONE in England is like this guy.....
There are work-arounds for using this as a practical system. The pizzas are pre-made at the pizzaria. You remove the pizza making station with a couple of additional ovens, rotated slightly so the doors are partly off-set to the side. and if possible set up an upper stone so a single oven could handle two pizzas, or a wire basket for sides that need to be kept hot. Otherwise you duct waste heat into panniers for hot side dishes.
You trigger the relevant oven as you approach the target house, and have pizza boxes in a storage compartment. Bish bash bosh, you have an actual working vehicle rather than just a novelty.
legend, and i'm so grateful for these ten or so years i've been watching your content! cheers from Finland mate! 🇫🇮
Absolutely Loved It. 🙃
You got such amazing skills.
I want pizza to be delivered like this, who the hell cares about those buzzwords "practicality" and "how will each restaurant get a stockpile of these" it's COOL and I LOVE it, this is the peak of human engineering here, it isn't about why, its about why not!
I laughed so much at how well it actually came out with the professional! Brilliant!!
Everything Colin makes is fantastic, but this is another level of creativity. There should be a fleet of these vehicles going around, since it is evident in the video how much joy this brings people.
and also the Professionality...
Piece of da Mario please.
I did see a guy in Vietnam riding a motorbike with a bao cooking wood stove burning on the back
They're called roti rollers and they're the reason Italians discovered the art of cheese covered roti. Just like middle East learned stuffed roti.
@colingfurze this is awesome and a wonderful idea! You'd not even have to limit this by motorcycles! Do it in a car with bigger oven and you can deliver it the whole year :D
Wish we had something like that !
I have seen pizza food trucks that have an oven, but never seen anything like this before! Colin being a plucky chap and fixing real problems at the same time too!
lol, that because its dangerous , making such a long swingarm , he should do a side cart that will work
Ah yes, I always thought the one thing pizza was missing was exhaust fumes. 😅
Colin, your channel has had just the perfect ratio of fail and success from the start! your content is also the most steadily amazing content in youtube. you're such a damn legend, and i'm so grateful for these ten or so years i've been watching your content! cheers from Finland mate! 🇫🇮
Now the true test would be does it work in the Finnish winter... -30C before windchill!
@tylisirn yeah well that certainly would be a defining test! 😂 i remember when i was a teenager i had a 125cc enduro with studded tyres on it. i never drove -30°C because it's too damn cold, coldest probably -25°C. at those temps i was quite comfortable after 5 or 6 layers of clothes, 2-3 layers for hands and neck and i had handwarmers also, which was installed to my handlebars. they had electric heaters and wind covers, f-ing great. still the wind gets inside your helmet somewhere and it's *c o l d* 😂 but fun, driving anything on snow, lots of it of course, is so god damn fun. even funnier is our icy lakes, where we make ice tracks every winter, if we have a solid winter here in southern finland. but gotta have warm car on shore or cottage on the lake with sauna already heating up because it gets freaking cold with our stripped ladas as beat up opels omegas and mercs. we drive windows open if accident happens and the ice breaks. snowmobiles are super fun too, just got couple winters ago to try one and it's a blast, everyone who likes driving or riding should try one! 😎 cheers mate!!
I can only imagine that if you are mentioned to someone who knows you that they would smile. Great video as always.
I'm genuinely amazed at how well that oven turned out. Never would have thought of hydroforming two spheres together.
I would have formed the second sphere separately, then cut it in half to insert the first sphere.
Ammazing and inspiring as usual Colin ❤❤❤
Unquestionably the greatest thing you’ve made Mr. Furze!
A genius with a work ethic; what a combo!
