Why would a spirit choose to attach itself to a doll? When Lola was alive over a century ago, the 18-year-old girl looked and dressed just like this doll. Her latest single "September 10th" captures the spiritual breakthrough that set her free from the fear of communicating with the great beyond. Because September 10th is also Kelsi's birthday, being able to connect with spirits has become central to Kelsi's identity as an artist and performer.
In her interview with StyleCaster, she explains why you shouldn't be afraid to embrace the spirit world, because we're all technically spirits having a human experience. "If you're afraid of spirits," Kelsi explains, "then you're actually afraid of yourself."
