Simultaneously impressive and very crude at the same time. The molded in detail is nice almost PE quality, but the fitting of the individual parts and the slop it on painting technique , astonishing.

This is really cool, it must have taken forever to print all these parts and a challenge to keep track of them. Were the railings part of the print or did you add photoetch rails?

I model in 1:700 scale. You can buy a Richelieu and a Jean Bart and start bashing the two together. However, a larger scale… I’m assuming 1:350 shows so much more detail. Great job printing and in getting her built!

Think you meant to 3d print battleship bourgogne the modernized sister ship to battleship alsace as bourgogne is widely considered to be the best battleship in game

Sorry, but this video is best viewed at a resolution of max. 480p, then the quality of the video will be appropriate for the quality of the model, and both will be appropriate for the quality of the workmanship. The model is just terrible. 😕
I suppose that putting in a huge amount of work, showing incredible patience and devoting a lot of time, you can make a decent model out of this project, but it's better to buy something else, from a recognized manufacturer. There are so many offers of wooden, cardboard, plastic models... 🙄

Been a bad day? Or are your expectations impossible to meet. Imo and many others the guy did an amazing job and did it all from scratch

@@SkyRaider-31 I have never been an outstanding modeler, but I have been building models for about 50 years (I am over 60 years old and I started in elementary school). After so many years of experience, at least I know which model is well made and which is poorly made.
The model shows a unit from World of Warship, so it's probably free to download (on the net I found a very similar design of the cruiser St. Louis), so it was enough to print, glue and paint it. The quality of the print depends on the 3D printer you have and as you can see, in this case it is average, the workmanship is poor, and the painting is terrible.
As I wrote earlier - errors and imperfections can be fixed and a decent model can be built, but with such large sizes, in the case of a plastic model, it is difficult and requires a lot of work and time, which is simply not visible here.
The only thing you can say about this model is that it IS. There's really nothing to brag about. Unless it would be one of the first models of some novice modeler with only a few months of experience. Then he would be praised. Yes, for encouragement. But ONLY in that case.

The model comes from World of Warships, but it’s not printable. It’s a 3D model for a computer game. The guy in the video made an enormous job convering it a printable model. You can brag about your modeling skills, but I guess you never made a kit yourself, otherwise you would appreciate that work. His assembly skills are not at pro level, but on pair with the average modeller. I don’t like his choice of colors, obviously his model lacks on that department, but he improved on that on his new models in later videos. Anyway big kudos for the model transformation he did, it’s a pitty he can’t share those files, maybe try to ask again from Wargaming. The St. Louis model you were speaking about is not directly from the game, but was converted to be 3D printable by Wargaming itself. I guess they were measuring up the market for such models by releasing that one free. I hope there will be a follow up on that, even for a reasonable price, as they have 500+ highly detailed warship models. By the way the model is not freely downloadable. It needs to be extracted from the game files in a non obvious way, and as I wrote, it’s not printable without a lot of work. Just because you don’t understand it, there is no reason to judge it inpolitely.
