2:38 You went right pat The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac. Maybe it had some great Peter Green stuff on it. : )

Hi Armien, it was really interesting to see your fleamarket-tour! Really fun to see what records they had there! I can say that we certainly don't have this fine records in my towns fleamarkets. ;) This jazzbox looks really awsome! Great musicians and live as well! I really hope that your meeting with the lady goes well! Those contacts are often the must places to find records. Great video! Take care and have a nice day!
Hello Jörgen, yes, it was quite a nice morning. I played the box set yesterday evening and I really enjoyed it. It has a great line up and I missed this kind of "concert" jazz in the collection. Thanks for watching and have a nice sunday :) Armien
Hi Rick, flea markets are always a great opportunity to find vinyl but since vinyl is all back there are a lot of professional record dealers searching on flea markets to buy it for their record or online store. Thanks for watching - have a great weekend :) Armien
Great video. I really enjoyed going to a German flea market! Interesting to see that they are pretty much the same everywhere, and that you never know what you might find!
Hi Dave, yes - thats true. I guess flea markets look almost the same everywhere but some of them in Germany start to have to many "professional sellers" that only sell new stuff. Thanks for watching :) Armien
Hi Armien It was nice going with you to the flea market. Sorry there was no luck this time. It will be exiting to hear about the Jazz collection you might get. :)
Hello Carsten, yes sometimes you find a lot of good stuff, sometimes you only find 4 records and sometimes you can come home with empty hands. It's always exiting but a new situation in a way. Thanks for watching :)
I almost wanted to punch you browsing through all the pop records - I suppose you have most of the good records you skipped. My heart even skipped a bit when you passed on Talk Talk's The Colour of Spring - how lucky do you have to be to find that at the flea market? Arrival, Rumors, Hunky Dory, Songs of Leonard Cohen, Double Fantasy, Days of Future Passed, Avalon, Wish You Were Here, Made in Japan and Sheik Yerbouti are all classics. I browsed a huge flea market for a few hours last summer, got away with a single copy of The River. Not sure how you'd even see all those great records at the same time. I don't even think most those are available at my local record store. And none would be under $15... Good finds though :)
Hi Armien: You got some nice things there - especially the Jimi Hendix and the jazz box set - I also love jazz. I also know Bielefeld quite well - for a time in the mid 70's I lived in Oerlinghausen, Brake (bei Lemgo) and Hardissen (Lage) - I have very good friends there and my heart is always there.
Thanks for taking us along with your digging exhibition Armien. Bielefeld kind of looks like a place called Crown Colony in Braintree Mass. It is a big medical park that has many offices for all different medical specialties. I love wide spread out flea markets like that one. That was quite a poster in the Jazz/Santa Monica pressing. Wow, that was quite a cool story about the jazz collection. I say that opportunities like that only go to the people to truly deserve them. In this case it is you A. You deserve the opportunity and I hope that they have all amazing records. Good luck with it. Talk to you soon~ Rob/Boston
Hello Rob, I always enjoy this kind of flea markets, too. It's just a big fun to come out and search in the wild. Indeed, the poster is quite big. Thanks for the kind words. I already called the old lady and we will see if it's possible to pick up the records. Her husband isn't sure about selling them. I will let you know of course :) Have a great weekend my friend - always good to have you around ! Armien
Nice video Armien! It was nice seeing your flea market venture! Great finds especially the Jimi Hendrix Radio One! Hope the lady hooks you up with some great jazz!
Hello Armien! Man,your videos are so damn cool! I'm hooked, buddy! ***I noticed you checked the ''A'' section first...'AMON DUUL II'...good man!*** ''Flip,flip,flip...''' I Love it!!! Your love and passion for music is so damn nice to witness. Please keep them coming! All the best for the New Year! Ol' Uncle Marty
Hi Armien, I saw several early Joan Armatrading albums at the first market you visited. If you haven't checked her out yet, i think you'll like her music. Look for her 1976 self-titled record, and the next 3 or 4 are pretty great too, "show some emotion", "To the Limit", and "Me Myself, and I". Most of her catalog is out of print, only the self titled album is re-issued on Speakers Corner.
derosa1989 Thanks for the recommendation! I only know Joan Armatrading by name but I never really listened to a full album. I will keep my eyes open for her debut or the early stuff. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a good week :) Armien
same problem as here in Belgium commercial flee marked retailers with alphabetic crates and (crazy) prized records. I go to all garage sells en sale yards in the neighbourghood. No commercial retailers, stocks from cellars and ceilings, amazing cheap, and amazing collections BUT you must be first in the morning to get it.
Great Hendrix find those are very hard to find here in the states. I'm missing that Who Are You definitely will pick it up if I see it. No familiar with that David Sanborn album I bet it's good all his albums are good thanks Armien for sharing that experience
Yes, actually finding Jimi Hendrix in Germany is very hard too. I guess I had some luck this time. I just found out that this is David Sanborn's debut album. I will spin it in the next days. Thanks for watching, Lovell! Have a good week :) Armien
Nice to see you digging the crates. I would have picked up that Golden Earring record, although it was only a compilation album. No need to go back and get it for me ! ;) Hope you can do a good deal with the old lady on the jazz collection !
Hello Martin, you know what - I have this Golden Earring record from a collection I bought some time ago. I need to listen to it first but if I don't like it you can have it. Thanks for tuning in, buddy! Have a good sunday :) Armien
You should check out your local recycling centre. I have found several L.P s and CDs at mine near Munich. I have about 50 classical music records including a few opera box sets, in reasonable condition which have cost nothing!
Nice Finds (Awesome Condition). When you flip through the records, I love to spot what I would have pulled from the boxes. This is what I would have lifted: Talk Talk (LP) with title track "Talk Talk", 2nd Talk Talk (LP) - maybe "It's My Life" track was on it, Yazoo (LP) feat. "Nobody's Diary", Depeche Mode - "Strangelove", Depeche Mode - "Behind the Wheel/Route 66 (which is a nice collectable), Mark Almond (LP) - maybe "Tears Rung Rings" is on it, and Shriekback (LP) - maybe "Nemesis" track is on it. I like videos like this lifting from the crates and boxes (never know what treasures are lying in the dust). Great Video and congrats on your finds!
klassicjam That's interesting to hear! I already have most of the Depeche Mode stuff but that day I just didn't felt like buying some 80s music. The Talk Talk is still on my list. Thanks for watching :) Armien
Hi Armien. Great finds and a nice story too. Car boots/flea markets are best place in UK (and Finland also where I lived) but putting Frank Zappa in 'Indie' sucks....
Hi Martin, yes, flea markets are always a good place to find vinyl. I thought the same when I saw Frank Zappa in the Indie bin. Thanks for watching :) Armien
Hi Anders, thanks - I already called her. I talked to her husband and the collection is VERY interesting. Some Coltrane, Ornette Coleman and some Blue Note stuff. The only problem is that he isn't sure if he really wants to sell. I will let you know! Have a good weekend :) Armien
Hello Armien, One of the best things about the flea markets is that you never know what you might find. Do you remember how much those Sweet Smoke-Just a Poke lps were on the flat dealer table? In 32 years of collecting I've never seen two in one day. Really nice psych/prog rock album :)
I would've bought those Ekseption records at the first flea market unless they were in awful condition. You never see those pop up here in the United States especially at flea markets.
Dave L. Hello Dave, yes, normally I would have bought the Ekseption but I already have all of them. I can imagine that they are hard to find in the States. I will keep my eyes open! Thanks for watching :) Armien
Hi John, yes, getting early to the flea market is the golden rule I would say. Unfortunately there are a lot of professional record dealers on the hunt as well. I wish you good luck digging in Berlin. Have a good sunday :) Armien
My God! Not one but 2 copies of "Just a Poke" in the wild!!!! Will you ever be going back to that 1st place Armien, I need to upgrade my copy of it badly and would send you some money to buy and post it to me, if it is in decent nick. Thanks for sharing - Ben.
Hi Ben, I will definitely keep that in mind. I didn't ask for the price this time because I already have my copy. This seller usually appears every second saturday. I will take a look for you next time. It's a great album and I don't need to mention the cool cover art :) Thanks for watching, buddy! Armien
AudiophileLaws Actually, that stuff is pretty hard to find over here... much harder than Jimi Hendrix! But please, no need to send it... Actually, a dealer I know in Columbia, SC, has an Otto record he always has at the record shows, mixed in with the rock... I've been too polite to tell him he'll never sell it, and if he does, the buyer will probably come back and kick his ass!
Metal Theologian Thanks for telling me Didn't know that! I can imagine that it is hard to find but are there listeners for this? Here nobody wants this kind of music. Same for Heino :)
AudiophileLaws Dude, did you know that for a year or two in the 90s, Heino records got really "hip" over here? I couldn't believe it.... I think it was about the same time that people re-discovered shit like Martin Denny and Esquivel, and he wasn't as popular as they were, but I remember the first time someone showed me his "cool" Heino compilation CD.. I was like no dude, sorry, that's not cool at all!
That Leonard Cohen album is a good one. If it's there the next time you go back I highly recommend getting it, Armien. It's called Songs of Leonard Cohen. It was fun to "go digging" with ya!
Funny that you mention it - the Leonard Cohen is high on my wantlist. I only have Songs of Love and Hate so far. The pressing in the video was a durch first pressing on the orange cbs label. Unfortunately it was warped heavy, otherwise I would have bought it. Thanks for the recommendation and thanks for watching :) Armien
AudiophileLaws It sure is, I lived there for two years, as I'm in the British Army, but now I've moved to the Uk now, thanks for the great videos, and keep them rolling. I will put my collection up on my Channel soon.
He Johan, yes thats true. I didn't buy it because I already have so many studio albums that I need to listen to first. Never the less it would be cool to own. Thanks for watching :) Armien
Armien
What the f***, you passed over all the best stuff and you bought Jazz at Santa Monica? Dude I'm never watching your channel again LOL. Just playing bro but there were some badass records in there. I would have bought those at the very least to resell on eBay. The Great rock and roll Swindle (I think the 2 record set?), Wish you were Here, etc. Do you not have good taste in music or what? What the f*** do you listen to? Okay I'll calm down now. I'm just amazed that you guys have such great albums a dime a dozen out there
Normally I don't sell stuff but you can let me know which records you are looking for and then I will keep my eyes open :) You can write to: audiophile.laws@gmail.com Thanks for watching ! Armien
Sorry buddie yu got an automatically 👎👎for passing on that Pink Floyd wish you were Here an all the others you just went pass an barely went thru em Sad😓 video man just FYI NO DISRESPECT... GREAT video just Sad at the same time
6:12 Whoops, Sorry I kicked over and then stomped on your Micheal Jackson framed pictures. Sorry for stomping on them over and over. My bad. Stomp, Stomp.
Diggin trouh resellers stuff is stupid, cause they always bu them on the flea market for a buck and resell them because it is from the beatles or the stones for 30€. The have ruined the marked for Collectors or people like me you bought them because they listen better and where cheaper than regular cds. And you support them by buying their stuff. Next time the same plate goes for 5 € more. I can understand that these soulles People make money of that but do they have to make 29€ of 30€ as profit, because the average ebay price is that high? Also most plates in that range on ebay have been washed before wich is not cheap at all.
lebulkEnjoy I agree with you... Unfortunately that's the truth but I guess we can not change it. It's part of the game. I am buying most of my records from the local record stores but sometimes it's refreshing to see what records you can find on flea markets. I always want to pay a "fair" price for both parties. Thanks for watching - have a good sunday :) Armien
AudiophileLaws I've got to say that i lost so many records to reseller that it hurts. There is a thing to do against them, overbid them, they will hate you for that. Anyway good day, sir.
AudiophileLaws ich auch. aber wohne jetzt aber in London. Komme bald wieder, daher dank fürs Video! suche nämlich nach'm Ort, wo ich Platten kaufen kann. Daher der Flohmarkt bei der Uni wäre gut.
Nothing exiting, such a common records,In last ten years the internet kill the flea market.Fifteen years ago I manège to found great vinyl, not any more, just brows through discogs.
The stuff you pass over is driving me INSANE.

Skipping "The Colour of Spring" annoyed me as well. He also skipped "The Lexicon Of Love".

Hello Martin,
you know what - I have this Golden Earring record from a collection I bought some time ago. I need to listen to it first but if I don't like it you can have it.
Thanks for tuning in, buddy!
Have a good sunday :)

You will like it. I have enough Golden Earring already. Enjoy !
3:03 That was a FREE record that I have not seen before. You also passed some JJ Cale I believe.
Wtf is wrong with youuuuuuuuuuu!!! Passing over amazing records
I'm dying
You should check out your local recycling centre. I have found several L.P s and CDs at mine near Munich. I have about 50 classical music records including a few opera box sets, in reasonable condition which have cost nothing!

I am new to the VC and just created an Intro, hope you can subscribe. thanks

Hello Armien,
One of the best things about the flea markets is that you never know what you might find. Wouldn't it be boring if you would know exactly what you will find? :-)
I also have that Jimi's "Radio One". I got the copy which is numbered, it's on white vinyl, it has a poster and the text on the back cover is in German. Is your copy of it just a "normal" one? That is very good compilation.
I really like these "report type VC videos". Every now and then I try to make one if there's a good reason to do it.
VC good indeed,
Jarkko / MyVinylBar
Hello Jarkko,
yes, thats right! You can never know what to expect on a flea market and that is kind of the magic thing indeed. Sometimes you find a lot of great stuff and sometimes you come home with empty hands.
My pressing is the normal one. I didn't know that there is one on white vinyl.
Good to hear that you have it. I listend to it yesterday and it is very enjoyable.
Those videos would be the ones I would like to watch so I thought it's a nice idea to take the camera with me and capture a little bit.

Do you remember how much those Sweet Smoke-Just a Poke lps were on the flat dealer table? In 32 years of collecting I've never seen two in one day. Really nice psych/prog rock album :)
at least you got a couple of decent lps armien! I enjoy david sanborn also maybe next time you will find more stuff you are interested in. rob
I would've bought those Ekseption records at the first flea market unless they were in awful condition. You never see those pop up here in the United States especially at flea markets.

yes, normally I would have bought the Ekseption but I already have all of them.
I can imagine that they are hard to find in the States.

Should have picked up sweet Smoke! :-)
For some reason I can never find Bowie here in Texas well except for Let's Dance.
Here in Germany only late Bowie stuff appears. I never saw his early albums in the wild.
Thanks for watching :)
Armien
Where in Texas are you?
nice video... not a bad day but things are getting better when u go early in the morning almost every weekend i guess! i will do the same in Berlin
Hi John,
yes, getting early to the flea market is the golden rule I would say. Unfortunately there are a lot of professional record dealers on the hunt as well.
I wish you good luck digging in Berlin. Have a good sunday :)
Armien
Fingers always get a workout while digging
Intersting!
Thanks for watching, Axel!
My God! Not one but 2 copies of "Just a Poke" in the wild!!!! Will you ever be going back to that 1st place Armien, I need to upgrade my copy of it badly and would send you some money to buy and post it to me, if it is in decent nick. Thanks for sharing - Ben.

Thanks Armien, maybe I can also return the favour, for sure!
Haha Ben i was about to say exactly the same thing!!
Unfortunately this seller was a little expensive but I'll keep the eyes open.
Oh my God, you passed on a Mike Krüger LP? How COULD you?? (hahaha)
I will grab it for you next time :D It's ultra, super, mega rare :D
AudiophileLaws Actually, that stuff is pretty hard to find over here... much harder than Jimi Hendrix! But please, no need to send it...

Du hast Glück, dass dein lokaler Flohmarkt so viele Platten hat, meins hat viel wenigere :D
NICE
thank you :)
I'm from mexico and I am still very young, I have 16 years. I have almost 100 vinyls, someday I hope to have a collection like yours.
That sounds cool, buddy! Starting young is always good. I started with 19 I think.
100 records are a good start already!
Have a good weekend
Armien
What's the Philips record with the blue cover pulled up at 2:31?
I assumed any PINK FLOYD would be picked up fast??
well here in Germany they are pretty easy to find actually.
How are your speakers connected? Also what make are the stands thanks like the video
man, Babylon by Bus... you should have bought that.
Thanks for the recommendation and thanks for watching :)
Armien
@3:44 mate, you missed the Magna Carta LP "Lord of the Ages". Folk/Prog classic.
Didn't you take Wish You were here?

I've just moved from Bielefeld (Heepen).

It's a small world after all....

AudiophileLaws It sure is, I lived there for two years, as I'm in the British Army, but now I've moved to the Uk now, thanks for the great videos, and keep them rolling. I will put my collection up on my Channel soon.
OMG be gentle when you put down that David Bowie Honky Dory vinyl because you didn't buy it🤣
Wheres the German rock? This old Englishman would be looking for Neu, Wallenstein Guru Guru etc music from hippy stoner Germany days!
Oh nett Nähe altenhagen
I can see Aerosmith - Live! Bootleg ;)
He Johan, yes thats true. I didn't buy it because I already have so many studio albums that I need to listen to first. Never the less it would be cool to own.
Thanks for watching :)

Wo sind denn die beiden Plattenläden in Bielefeld?
4:55 Dennis Brown foul play

What the f***, you passed over all the best stuff and you bought Jazz at Santa Monica? Dude I'm never watching your channel again LOL. Just playing bro but there were some badass records in there. I would have bought those at the very least to resell on eBay. The Great rock and roll Swindle (I think the 2 record set?), Wish you were Here, etc. Do you not have good taste in music or what? What the f*** do you listen to? Okay I'll calm down now. I'm just amazed that you guys have such great albums a dime a dozen out there

6:12 Whoops, Sorry I kicked over and then stomped on your Micheal Jackson framed pictures. Sorry for stomping on them over and over. My bad. Stomp, Stomp.
This could have been in the uk. The same trash records

I agree with you... Unfortunately that's the truth but I guess we can not change it.
It's part of the game. I am buying most of my records from the local record stores but sometimes it's refreshing to see what records you can find on flea markets.
I always want to pay a "fair" price for both parties.
Thanks for watching - have a good sunday :)

AudiophileLaws I've got to say that i lost so many records to reseller that it hurts. There is a thing to do against them, overbid them, they will hate you for that. Anyway good day, sir.
kommst du aus bielefeld?
Ja, ich komme aus Bielefeld. Du auch? LG
Armien
Just boring common records, since internet I do not find a lot.
