    Thank you for posting this video, I am going to attempt my first 1/24 scale plastic model build in many years. I use to build plastic models when I was a teenager, I am 61 now, I have shaky hands and bad eyesight but feel the need to do something with my five-year-old grandson and he has asked me if we could build a model car together. I cannot say no to him. This tutorial has shown me what products to purchase and some very useful steps to take and procedures to use. Wish me luck and God bless.

    Great work. Personaly I would not have gone black panel lines. I would have gone for a light silver grey and not thick. You want it to be a light hilight, shadow effect. Not full in your face. I would have used a fine line pen. Worked great on my railway bridge to highlight themortar in the bricks. But still a great tutorial. I have a Tamiya MX5 to do but want to get it spot on that it matches my own MX5. I have been told flocking powder for carpets too.

    Thank you for this video, ive always been interested in model cars but never really the time, im having shoulder surgery end of month so i decided to buy 3 model cars and a model RC car, with all the materials it gets a little pricey, especially not knowing if i should Spray everything or paint everything but A combination of both does seem best. Thank you again for this video I watched multiple times Now its time to go build one of mine and refer back to this video when needed lol

    Heres a little tip if you want to paint smaller details, dont cut them iff the board immediately, this will make it easier to paint the smaller pieces without making a huge mess :D

    Subbed right away. Great video most helpful. I had a question about your experience with different glues. I see you use uhu general purpose glue for larger parts. I have testors. Have you ever used testors glue is it safe? Iv had plastic shrink/melt with it sometimes. What are your thoughts for other glues other then uhu. Thank you ☺️☺️☺️ great video very helpful.

    I just came across your videos yesterday and I love them. Subscribed right away. One question, I notice on this one that you place your decals at the end. Most builders place them before clear coat. Do you maintain your same process even on decal heavy builds? Do they adhere long term over the wax?

    • @JHHobby
      @JHHobby  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey man, thanks alot! Normally i will place the decal 1st and do clearcoat..for this video im doing the simple and non risky steps..because every clearcoat is different and spraying experience is very important..most beginners will easily ruined the decals when spray clearcoat

    • @mitchcohen4264
      @mitchcohen4264 Před 2 lety

      @@JHHobby thank you for the reply. Clear coats will protect decals during the wax process then... If being intentional and delicate? Wax by hand only or rotor will be ok also with decals?
