- Now that I actually have a bookshelf to house my books, I thought it would be a good opportunity to give a tour of my art book and comics collection! I hope they provide you with some spark of inspiration that they provide me with.

Thanks so much for watching!
It took me three times the length of the video. I kept pausing and looking at the art and then rewatching to hear your narration. It was very intimate and it is much appreciated. There's a common theme; exquisite. It explains your art quite well...your narration was apt. Thank you for this.
Haha, so glad you appreciated it! It's nice to be able to share some of my favs 💕
Fantastic collection! Very inspiring, thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for watching! :~)
Loved this, thank you for sharing your collection😊Now I need to mind my own business and stay away from the bookstore before I’m tempted to get some of these😮
Hahaha this is why books are so dangerous 😩
stunning book tour, they look wonderful ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! 💗
Thank you for sharing your precious collection of art books! As a Japanese individual, it's flatteringly delightful to see some of them are Japanese❤ As a huge fan of Yoshitaka Amano since my childhood, I went to his exhibition a couple of years ago in Tokyo without knowing it was actually a sales event, ending up listening to a sales rep’s pitch for almost an hour for Amano’s $10k art piece!🤣
Hahaha no way! His work was on exhibit here in ny last month but I totally missed it :’)
I am late to the party, but that Yoshitaka Amano artbook is so gorgeous...! Vampire Hunter artwork is sublime imo. And the Nausica manga is one of my favorites! I prefer the manga over the movie :)
Also, the tea towel book title is "Kyoto no Furyu Eirakuya no Choka Tenugui" which roughly translates to "Kyoto's elegance/taste: Eirakuya's city-people/merchant design tea towels". I think.
You're never late to this party ;~) Totally agree!! The opening panels of the first volume are ones that I flip to all the time 🤌🤌 And wow, thank you for the translation!
awesome book tour! laura dean is one of my favorite comics ever, so it was nice seeing it here.
Thank you! Ugh yes it’s so good!
Hi! I just received some bad news and this lovely video managed to soften the blow. Thank you for showing us your collection! I love graphic novels and art books so much :-)
Sorry to hear about the bad news but I’m glad you enjoyed the tour 💗
I just found your channel and I love it! If you're a Tamaki fan, my absolute favorite graphic novel is Super Mutant Magic Academy by Jillian Tamaki! My little review here won't do it justice, so if you haven't read it I highly suggest it!
Glad you found it! Omg yes, I love super mutant magic academy, I used to read it back when she posted on Tumblr!
Thank you for accepting my request ❤🙏🏼😍🌹👏🏼😘All the books are inspirational 🤩👍🏼🥰💖
You are so welcome!
I love your videos and thank you so much for your art books tour! Where did you buy this bookshelf??
Thank you! I got it on sale from design within reach :~)
@@kesaltthank you ❤❤❤
😍🤩
Can you please share the name of the illustrator at 5:44? I like her work but I did not catch her name properly and the transcript doesn’t help either. I tried to read it from the book page but no luck either: Ouzem, Oizem Vuran ?
Gizem Vural :~)
@@kesalt Thank you.
Fantastic collection! Very inspiring, thanks for sharing ❤
thanks so much for watching! :~)
