The instructions I have seen for these urinals is you put this blue "sanitary" liquid in the urinal to keep the smell abated. It recommended servicing every month to maintain the hygienic seal, but it specifically state not to "bucket flush" but just add a measured amount of the fluid in (san windshield wiper fluid filling). You wipe it down with moisten single use "sanitary wipes". My employer's maintenance department installed one of these urinal as a trial and it didn't work out too well. We learned that these urinals are not meant for high throughput restrooms but more like for out buildings (hiking trail and like).
You can tell they used 3D computer modeling to maximize the swirl in that thang! They got all the curves just right. Nice demo, though I HATE waterless urinals. I dunno how they keep them clean, odorless, and prevent mineral scale. I've looked and looked. All i can gather is they hook up a water hose somewhere and do what you just did here.
I saw one of these at indiana truck stops on I-80 near south bendI was like Wooow! Above the urinal it said it saved 275,000 gallons of water a year so pretty soon these will probably be everywhere amazing....🤙

This came from an old warehouse that was owned by a now deceased handyman. I got it with a 2015 Kohler Cimarron.

I remember seeing one of these at an apartment complex on the west side of Houston. The restroom I saw it in also had 2 Kohler Santa Rosa Class 5s.
