HOW TO FRENCH TAIL LIGHTS

- I french or "tunnel" round tail lights on the Ford F100 Rat rod truck build I'm busy with. The original tail light lenses were in bad shape, and as part of the custom load bed I'm building, I decided to fit small round tail lights.as I feel they go well with the customized stepside fenders I fabricated.

👍I like the look of the lights, and again you make it look simple easy to do ,and that my friend gives others encouragement to do it themselves! Again I thank you for doing these videos!
Wow. !!. You continue to amaze me. I can't stop watching your Master Fabrications.
Thank you!
Every time I watch one of your videos I learn more, your a great teacher my friend
Thank you! Makes me happy when I hear that I provide a little value.
Thats really cool, that turned out awesome!
I know that this video is a over a year old as I'm watching it but, I thought I'd share something I learned when running into little lead pockets. I found using solder and a simple soldering gun works wonders in filling in those nasty weld holes where lead is found. Just tin the metal and the gun and use flux. The surrounding lead is not affected much because of the small concentration of heat. You may already know this by now. But just in case you don't, there ya go!
Thanks will give it a try next time
Like I I said , Very cool Build On

Great project, looks slick bud.

Turn signal lower pods should be in lowest pods.

Thanks Manie! Too poor for those massive tyres & rims... 😂
@@ratrodsafrica I know the feeling, THESE PROJECTS HAVE A DRAINING EFFECT. But our passion to create keeps us pushing forward with what we have.
Man you are too talented to go blind from welding without eye protection. You can get an auto darkening helmet cheap online.
I have 2 auto helmets. But sometimes when I tack things, I only wear safety glasses and close my eyes when tacking
👍🏻
Awesome upgrade wow looks totally ratty lol
Center Mr Venter
What about, "a spliff for Mr Diff"😂?
Dit lyk baie goed...
Dankie Deon! Waar in die wereld is jy?
My oom, hier bo in die ou Transvaal.
@@deongerber3477 ek het groot geword in die OU Transvaal! Was 'n lekker plek...
Wasn’t lead basically the grandfather to Bondo or body filler in the 50’s?
Yes, absolutely. I just didn't expect in on a truck from the late 70's. PS. My brother in law is also a Thornhill!
I'd put the turn signal in the middle...just to be different...what about backup lights?
I didn't bother with backup lights.
Well, it looks really cool...I'm gonna have to do some custom lights on my build of some kind...
In many states turn signals must be visible to the side and back. Will you add more lights for turn signals?
Nope, that's it.
No reverse light?
Nope.
Light placement is irrelevant as long as they work.
Work they do! 😀
