No need for him to know. 4:13 Yup, they actually pulled a practical joke in the middle of filming the MV. Legit. All the people whose names appear in the credits are actually well-established senior singers / musicians, with the director Wheesung and producer Baek Z Young (or Baek Ji Young) being the most well-known solo singers respected for their voices (they sing a ton of OST soundtracks for movies and dramas). So when Baek Ji Young was criticising them, it would be like Christina Aguilera being disappointed that this new girl group was nowhere as good as she had heard. (Mamamoo = scat. The initials sounds like Ememho which made their debut doing Mr Ememho = Mr Ambiguous which was originally english)
"Mamamoo" is scat and i love how it went from there. I sometimes don't understand why they have a hard time explaining that Mamamoo came from simply scat singing and to scat isn't easy yo.
Maybe general audience wanted a "creative" reason behind kpop names but that enough is already awesome.

TooGrown it’s okay, it took me a long time to get Korean names right (I’ve been a kpop fan since 2012). The way they’re written in English letters often makes no sense, so I always try to look at the Hangul for them to get it right
