Wonderful to see you managing your recovery it's inspiring for those of us who are also working through illnesses and Injury. Yes to the box openings with a little chit chat and banter with your husband who will have to fo the heavy lifting. Great for us shut ins who never get to the quilt shop. Reference to the feel of the fabric, would make a lovely border or bag etc.
i had not thought about having him in it, but i really like the idea. we are kinda silly when we banter, so we could be comic relief. lol

WHO DOES YOUR HAIR FOR YOU ITS SO LONG MUST BE A PAIN
i can comb my hair but my husband will braid and helps me wash it. i haven't needed to color it since surgery but his daughter is planning on helping me with that. i can't even make a pony tail by myself... lol
