Tim's Guanacaste, Costa Rica home is a special place, made so by the huge remodel that Tim and his wife Analou executed over 18 months.
I was excited to see Tim's unique property - and to try and get him to put his home for sale - because it's extremely unique. You find few homes that are nestled in the "expat corridor," right along the main road from Huacas to Brasilito, that allow you to have so much space. Virtually the only real estate for sale in the area is in cramped neighborhoods and/or gated communities.
Tim found a special home - the property measures about two acres, he has two homes and 100% peace and quiet. Yet the main road and most of the amenities expats seek are extremely close by. The Playa Flamingo marina is only a couple minutes down the road; the Costa Rica International Academy (CRIA) and La Paz Community School - two of the area's schools that are in highest demand - are extremely short drives away.
