Lilly Davis You either put butter or oil, not both. And a cake without flour? Wtf. Of course there are recipes for cakes without flour but there's always a substitute for it. Your mum can hardly be a proffesional baker if she said that.

@@Grodman5- She meant the butter and flour Jazz put into the cake tin, not the mix.
I use the parchment paper like yolanda does. It works way better than anything else for removing cake from the pan. I started doing that because she does it and it really is the best.

@@Evermoremadeit that's true but the pan is metal and it keeps the heat in to fully cook all of the sides of the pan. If you remove then let cool it takes a lot less time. And is a lot more effective when your going to ice.
You also have to parchment paper in the pan so that cake comes out in one piece 😂
