The easiest way to blend chalk paint | sponging technique

To make over this secretary desk I blended 3 chalk paint colors, using the sponging technique. The sponging technique is a very forgiving technique, when you are trying to blend colors. You can use a regular kitchen sponge for this.
To give the piece a more romantic look, I applied a transfer by Redisgn with Prima, called "Life in full bloom". I distressed the transfer with some sanding paper, to give it an aged look. I also used some black wax to achieve an even more aged effect.
I'm very happy with the result. This piece sold in just 1 day...! I really hope you like it too.

Hi Leen, sorry you got a dud and your husband had to do all of this work. I have learned the hard way not to commit myself to anything until I examine the piece in person.
