There's a teacher access code at the bottom left of the first sheet of your teachers edition that let's you access additional resourc3s

I just purchased this exact book for my 5year old. But still need to get the teacher edition for myself. I’m so excited to try this program I hear nothing but great things!

We've been using it for 4 weeks now and I agree that the teachers guide can look intimidating BUT one time through a lesson and it's smooth sailing. Great review!
The only thing you might be missing from level k are the sight words but you can just add those as you go. I'm about to purchase level k for my kindergartener and I saw they have phonics boosters so I'm thinking about purchasing it. They are $8. It looks like they are geared towards reading comprehension. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I didn’t know about those phonics boosters! I’m going to check those out to see if it’s something we would benefit from. Thank you for sharing about that ☺️

You’re so welcome! I haven’t deleted any videos, so they should all be there. They’re all separated into the playlists. I think you can see them on my channel home page. I’m glad you find the content helpful! ❤️

Are the pages perforated for easy removal for the reader books and word and letter tiles?
I am a busy mom of five soon six kids and I am so scared to teach my upcoming first grader to read. We were using All About Reading but it’s becoming too much for me with so many kids to keep up with so I am looking for something simpler.

We are yet to use a curriculum that does lessons over a week!!! The intervention box looks awesome!!! I’ve had to look for extra practice for different subjects including phonics!!! Sound spelling sounds awesome!!!!

I really like the built in extra practice! I think it will save me a little time should there be extra help needed.

Where did you purchase the teachers edition at?

Thank you for the great explanation of the program. However, I was looking for an actual flip-through of the student workbook page by page to determine if we should start in the Red or Yellow book. This was more of a flip-through of the teacher guide but not in its entirety 😢
I would also suggest binding the workbook so the pages lay flat for your kiddo to write. It's $5 at Staples. ❤ That being said my initial thought is it feel too much like public school. The content changes every week but not the structure of how you complete the assignment. Like you are asking the same questions about different things. Would you consider this a mastery approach? I feel like we would get board 1/2 way through but I could be wrong. 🤷🏾‍♀️Can’t wait to see how you it goes with your kiddo.
Still stuck between the Yellow or Red Book to start 🙃

Aw shucks! I’m sorry it wasn’t more helpful for you. We’re definitely eclectic style homeschoolers and do use some traditional curriculum. I’ve found that even with those, I’m able to still tweak things as needed to better suit whatever learning style. For this curriculum, thought there is handwriting intertwined, I am going to be purchasing letters that my son can use for some of the lessons so that we can have things changed up from time to time. I would consider this to be more mastery approach, but there is an element of spiral being that there are cumulative reviews sprinkled throughout. I can definitely see how one would get bored with this curriculum as it’s a good curriculum but would not be suitable for all learners. Me personally, if I just can’t decide on levels for curriculum I generally go with the lower level and modify lessons as needed just because worse case scenario, they will breeze through and you have to purchase the higher level sooner than expected. By modify I mean instead of having them do every exercise in a lesson, we may pick one to do as a refresher and move on to the next lesson.
