Great advice. Planning and preproduction goes a long way, especially with paper and pencil; it allows you to be as imaginative as you want with little restrictions.

I even purchased "All you need to know about the music business" from Amazon too. I have a few goals that I written down and I believe I'm moving in the right direction.
My genre would be the conscious side of hip hop, I definitely would like to stay independent, even though I would do some business with a independent record label only. We are in the height of technology and I'm going to use that to my advantage. I just need to get in the studio and record. I have 4 mixtapes finished ( written and done from instrumentals on beat stars airbit ect).

I agree wholeheartedly like this the way I been thinking except I dint fo the budget part I might on my next but I'm in the planning my tracklist thru first good video tho this needs to be said ppl tapes be random af weather all the songs r good or not but like u said it works for sum ppl i ain't knocking it
