- Kansas whitetail hunt with a long bow. 100% wild, fair chase hunting with a stickbow and self taped. Gabe is hunting with a Two Tracks Ogemaw 54" long, 54lb draw using Black Eagle X Impact arrows and Valkyrie Archery 300 grain Jagger Centerpin broad heads.
Beautiful buck; wonderful hunt. The huge bonus here was your excellent audio recording of REAL grunts and a REAL snort wheeze. These will show any deer hunter who views this video how to blow his/her call properly, which most of us don't!
I lost my Dad almost 20 yrs ago. The pain never goes away and I don't want it to. He knows and he see's your love for him . You're a good son and hunter .

I lost my father in 2019 before the season and I killed a big 11 point a few months after. In my over 40 years of deer hunting it was the first time I could not tell him of my buck.Thank God I know he is in Heaven and I will see him there. Praise God!

It’s very addicting! I dropped my compound cold turkey about 11yrs ago. It was a rough first year but things kinda clicked after that. Keep at it and enjoy the journey!
I love your videos...you are very appreciative of what you have... I killed a nice buck the same year my Dad left us.. with my big horn recurve... It was special... We hunted traditional only together for probably 30 years.. I miss him everyday
What a great testament to your father! My dad was always the first person I called when I shot a big game animal. It’s still something I miss to this day. Thanks for the kind comments and good luck this fall!
@@FullQuiverOutdoors me too... He passed in 2013, March.. I live in Alabama.. and we hunted public land mostly... I took a nice buck that December, actually on New year's Eve.. rattled him in and it was really awesome... I remember standing over that buck and thinking how tough a year it was for me and to end it with a great hunt..

I too lost my dad 1.5 years ago and I landed my first Buck ever with my bow wearing his old hunting hat that same year he passed. He was with me that day and I'm sure your dad was with you also. Great job

Ben Persenaire, I’ve used a lot of them. In this video I used the DJI Mavic. It’s a good drone for packing on a trip because it’s so small.

Got a broken nose that means he's a scrapper
Actually his nose wasn't broken as it appeared to be. After boiling the skull, it became apparent that he was born that way. His whole face was bent and teeth were shifted. The skull looks like a banana type curve that has no indications of trauma. We have seen something like that in horses that were maybe squished in the womb. Pretty cool though! I didn't even notice it when I shot it.
