The first time i heard this song i had just spent 4 hours In hospital while my aunties life machines where switched off, there was no hope and after suffering for many days she finally passed, leaving only memories and a 11 year old boy. Where the song comes into this story you ask? Well, now when it plays all I hear is "Don't die". Words that will stay in my mind forever.

That song helped me during struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. When I felt alone and overwhelmed that was giving me a little of hope. Now I am officialy recovered, happy on my way, decided to live. Not just fulfill the time, life with full of joy and passion. If you're reading this, also struggling, don't give up. There is always a hope and live is worth to live. Take care!

Her being happy is all I want, but i also don't want to loose her. This hurts me so much, theres nothing I wouldn't give to change the past if I could, and being with her is all I ever wanted. Reminds me of the first girl I ever fell in love with, her beautiful brown hair and eyes that captivated me. We were together for 9 months and loved each other very much, but then she had to move to London with her family. We kept in contact for a while but have since broken up because of the long distance. I'm getting nostalgia to this. For something I probably never experienced.
Every time I hear a song from Kygo, I could feel the hairs on my skin stand on end. All because of that wonderful feeling of escaping from reality
Me and my friends used to be so close. Then they excluded me from the group and they wont tell me why. They dont answer when I text, the make up shit when I ask to chill, and they all hang out without me. Tonight, they did it again and I gave up. I didnt know what to do, who to go to. I just felt weird and everything tensed up and I wanted to punch something. I came hear to listen to this for the first time in so long. I lye in bed and just listened. I cried. Didn't think I had it in me.

Hey everybody. I posted this when I was still in high school. Now I am on my way to my 3rd year in college. To anyone reading this, know that these feelings are temporary and those people who may do things like this to you are inconsiderate and they don't deserve to be thought about. It is best to let things go and move forward, and think about things to look forward to. Only fill your mental space with things and people that will make you happy. Think about where you will be once you accomplish your deepest desires and goals. Those people that did that to me way back when I initially posted this are still around. We all went to different schools, and now they all ask me to hang out when we are all in town. I forgave them, and don't mention the things they put me through, but I never forgot what they did. I rarely hang out with them when they ask these days. I have other people in my life who make me much happier than them. They act like we have always been good friends, which shows how much people that do those things to you will probably not realize to what extent they are hurting you. They are pretty boring people, and I never stopped to realize that back when I posted this because all I wanted was companionship, and they were my only friends. To any young people going through what I went through in my first comment, remember that your entire life is ahead of you and that there are other people out there who would love to be your friend. I definitely went through some lonely patches during that part of my life, and I learned to be comfortable with being alone. I worked on myself, both physically and mentally during that time. So yes, there will be times when you are alone, but that doesn't mean you should stop living your life. Work towards your goals and spend some time with yourself. Learn to respect yourself enough to realize that those who did that to you should not dictate how you feel all day. Find pleasure in achieving other goals, even if they require you to be alone.
Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, I just spoke from my mind once i realize this comment still existed. This is what I would have told myself back in the day. Stay strong guys, and start practicing good habits. Work out, meditate, go for walks, and create a schedule for every day. If you follow a schedule every single day where you set times to do things you like, and do things that need to get done, then you will feel very accomplished and whole at the end of the day
Friends come & go, don't be sad. Go out and make contacts. Me aswell had a time nobody of my old friends wanted to know something from me, but I found new friends. They're not my best friends, but good friends and you'll find them too. But almost no friendship lasts forever, keep that in mind. The only friends, who stay with you, is your family. (Sorry for bad grammar.)
I had the exact same situation couple of months ago. It felt bad and I was scared to be alone but I stood back up on my feet because the only thing stronger than fear is hope :)

Literally woke up to this song for a year straight. And I don't mean it was my alarm. I mean I laid there and pulled this up and some days it got me out of bed dancing at the first chorus and some days I listened to it several times over before I was in a waking headspace. Some of the most beautiful and accomplished mornings. 2 years later and I still wake up to it like that sometimes.
