Drew does the best interviews I swear! Ahe really studied the art of an interview before she started her show and you can truly tell.
No she's not the best interviewer. She seems to be a authentically kind, well-meaning person, but I think she's a bit too effusive. It's one thing to like your guests, enjoy them, have a good discourse, but another to gush and worship.
I had made peace with the fact that this awesome show (Next in Fashion) wasn't coming back, I was so happy when it popped up on my Netflix! Gigi is a great fit.

So true about boundaries, you can be assertive and polite and that doesnt make you rude or ungrateful. I used to think boundaries equals aggression, conflict and over time same same with the help
of my therapist being scared to say what I think or feel I’ve learned it is about how you say it and also that you dont have to say too much, over explain yourself. You can do it nicely and over practice of saying things out loud with myself or close friends, I’ve learned to word uncomfortable conversations in the right way.

Like everyone else I love Drew and have for decades. Hosting a talk show is a perfect fit for her personality and background in showbiz. But in every other interview, she’s either literally on the floor or at the guest’s feet. What is that about?
It’s her thing & she’ll do her thing until she moves on to the next thing. That’s why we love her.
She gets excited and wants to be close to the discussion, quite literally. I think it's the sweetest. It shows she's completely focused on the discussion and interested. It makes it less formal and that seems like her personality. I don't mind it. She's a ball of energy.
