Sailing Good Bad & Ugly Fail - What Went Wrong

I'm an armchair captain for this one and I'm going to tell you what I think went wrong causing Sailing Good Bad and Ugly's Docking Fail.
Disclaimer, I love these sailors! As a cruising couple, they are doing more hardcore sailing without an engine around the Caribbean than anyone I know! They're self-taught cruisers with tons of sea miles and I respect the heck out of them... But I also happen to be a salty old captain with too many opinions that I can't keep to myself. Sorry.
