This is great city.
Mumbai just doesn’t have enough urban revenues to develop public infrastructure in the city. Everything looks dated and minimally maintained. Clearly there is not enough urban revenue to maintain the city. And then there are these weird trees in the middle of the road.

After living in Canada for over 2 years I realized an average Canadian leads a way more "posh" life than the richest Indians.
Effect of centuries of free labour from black slaves. We are a much younger nation, we don't have free money from colonies and black slaves. Be proud of whatever much India has achieved.

@@notjustanyuser At the of the day it is about life quality. In India if you are wealthy you have driver, cook, servant, gardner etc.. you dont need to worry about anything. You just focus on your work/business and family. You have a lot of time to enjoy. Over here even if you are wealthy making 200k dollars, you still have to do everything yourself. In the West you hardly have time because you are also doing all house chores yourself too apart from your job. This is the big difference. The only thing is that in the West environment is better since there no pollution or garbage like India and Westerners have much better civil sense then Indians. So yes there are many pros living in west, but the point here is about quality of life for a higher earner
