This is the only cover I have found where the verse is played correctly. Everybody else plays a triplet pattern on the bass drum instead of a double stroke, and it's always bugged me. Ever since I saw a video of Chad Szeliga giving a lesson on how to play it like 11 years ago.
It really sounded like triplets! Reminds me of Waking the Demon - Bullet For My Valentine, before they dropped their guitar playthrough everyone played the main riff by alternate picking, but after, almost everyone played it downpicking~
