Imagine a sympathy orchestra in Prague playing the TOP GUN ANTHEM. The only other time I get goosebumps like that is when any symphony orchestra plays the Main Title from STAR WARS (and I know in my mind it’s 1978 somewhere in the universe.)
@@WorldwideWyatt It opens with the guitar-less version. As a guitar fan, I was disappointed that it didn’t open with the guitar version. A new guitar version makes it into the movie later on but it’s not as prominent. Check out the 80’s music video for a kick and for some classic 80’s guitar magic.

Yeah, you're right. The guitar got lost in the mix. Couldn't hear it near the end of the song. This was originally recorded with a synth and a guitar, and the guitar stood out. In this setting, the guitar didn't stand out for very long.
I have Navy and Resistance ties and am half Czech American and my grandfather was in Bratsky Vestnik and knew Czechoslovakian President Edward Benes and still have cousins in Prague.

Is that a lady drums? Even a lady is to strong for this recording (or in general)? They seemed to have tried to restrict the drums, yet they're probably to strong by nature.
Hate this arrangement. I love, love the Top Gun theme, but here it seems all over the place, using the wrong instruments at the wrong moments. The musicians are great, but are badly underserved by whoever put this particular arrangement together.
