Very good points Rhony! as a F2P player I'm always training as many troops as I can, I know a paying player will have the edge with build speeds/speed-ups etc but I'm doing as much as I can! I recently completed my T4 research for my Infantry/Cavalry and I have roughly 255K troops total, but I've been playing RoC for just around 2 months now. I'm already working on Charles Martel & Boudica - I just had to do it after watching your Charles/Richard Infantry-Only video.....That was just beast! XD FUN FACT: I can confirm what Rhony is saying is 100% accurate. We were demolishing an alliance while defending our flags a week ago and I got attacked by a guy who had 12M power on his city, I had 2.5M power and around 180K troops (T3) with Charles/Boudica defending my city. When I came back I saw reports of him rallying me three times and being DEFEATED! It really boggled my mind..XD
Yeah I guess maybe I did but I honestly don't remember XD I was afk hahaha but I guess if I didn't get reinforcements maybe the guy just attacked with his troops instead of rallying me, a rally would have certainly destroyed my city.. xP

If you put Richard I as primary in garrison, which epic commander would be best as his secondary? Ideally it would also be someone that can also be primary on the battlefield with Richard as secondary. Trying to mimic your Richard/Charles setup using an epic commander, where the primary/secondary roles switch places when out of garrison
The way this game is designed, getting attacked and having troops die is inevitable, war can break out at any time. The best you can do is just plan to prevent as much loss as possible. For myself, I don't keep any siege units higher than T2 on my main and only enough to do 3 level 3 nodes since my farm account has only siege units. If I get hit it comes up to about 20% in the hospital and the rest is for my main army.
i would going full infantry talent tree on Richard and full Garrison and a bit of defense on Charles Martel i use Richard on open field combat as a tank And pair Charles as primary com with Charles Martel for Garrison

With the first you heal and shield a lot, but with the 2nd you do nuke dmg. We have a big war atm, today 4M t4 died again, k19.

Another great video! 👍 I am in a dilemma! I got Richard I in the first few days of starting the game and upgraded him to 4 stars unlocking all his skills without maxing out his first skill. I got to know too late about how important his first skill is. I have him now at (1/2/2/3) 🤣 Now i have enough Legendary sculptures to take my Charles Martel's first skill to lvl 5. Should i go ahead with Charles Martel or should I stick with Richard I and try my luck??
i would suggest Charles Martel first skill to 5/5 decide later on when you get more sculptures if you want to invest more in Richard, but if you manage to get Richard skill to 3/5 he will worth using with your Charles 10x2skill , 15x2skill , 30x2skill, 40x2skill, 45x2 skill, 50x2 skill, 75x2skill, 80x 2 skill = 690 sculptures needed to max him out, this the cost order of sculptures for a legendary so you know if you plan more for your Richard
I like your videos Rhony! I am a bit p2w player (like 300 euro) but focus on Minamoto and Cao Cao for cavalery. I have chosen Sun tzu with Tomoe Gozen for my city defense, bc cant reach Richard or Charles for now, its to expensive. What u think about that combo?
they can do alright for now, but i would suggest focusing Eulji Mundeok for garrison as a side project or something to keep in mind and work on slowly maybe give him some universal sculptures and help him level up using Lohar or Boudica when you group gank the barbarians :)

as second in command you only need their skills, to protect yourself against a rally you need Eulji or Boudica, to protect yourself against being hit by multiple groups of troops can be kusunoki. I would advice to go with Eulji because of the main and 4 skills and since you are not f2p you will have a lot of troops so you will probably be rallied as worst case scenario

In 1 attack round u do 1 normal troop damage to the primary army ur hitting and as many counterattacks that hit u, for pelagius heal and kusonokis bleed, can it even proc on counter attacks?

second in command either garrison or field battles only skills matter, talents work only from main commander and apply to both and army. legendary commanders should 1 star until first skills is maxed before you want proceed forward with them some exceptions are JC and El Cid they need first 2.

depending how many troops you have in the city, if you got a lot of troops then Yi/Richard if you don't have over 1 mil use Richard and someone else as second like Charles/eulji/Scipio/Julius

if you search google for proxy you can still play it, you might not be able to buy stuff but you can play it so don't blame me if you cannot buy stuff. But i cannot explain how it works i never used is just something others told me you can do to play games that are not available in your country. Search about proxy and inform yourself from there, mainly is about your IP address being recognized as in a different country, would suggest to that with a new google account so you don't mess with your main. My suggestion wait for the game to be released.

You mean for field battles to attack other players i should use SunTzu as primary and Richard as secondary, right? And for city defense use Richard as primary even though i would have Eulji with a good garrison/attack tree?? Wouldn’t it be better to have Eulji as primary because of his garrison/attack tree??

you need skill damage or you will not destroy the enemy Richard max is good first but he also brings a lot of troops back meaning you can have a lot of dead in the city
Is there a way to get Yi Seong Ji? :/ I am a full archer player with a full infantry as my tank :/ Meaning I got 2 teams but Archer is main focus here :/ I want Yi Seong Ji so much. I am f2p but I really don't mind paying some to just up one Legendary to max :/ but you know how much I would have to pay for that? :O
much more then your eyes want to read at least right now :) trust me you an get YSG first skill maxed then unlock the rest and he will be very good with archers on the skill talent path. unfortunately you have to wait for him in the wheel event

Lohar. You want to get his 70% exp gain and pick up his talents "Quick Study" and "Trophy Hunter". Quick study gives you an extra 15% exp gain (85% total) and Trophy Hunter gives you 15 lvl 1 resource packs per barbarian that you defeat with him. Barbarians drop a ton of gems, so as a free to play player, it is important to constantly fight them. Lohar is crucial to lvling up commanders without wasting tomes of knowledge.
you got some good advice there from Yossarian and he is right, as f2p you should focus on Lohar but leveling his skills should be from your alliance (yourself) farming the Lohar event/raids so you can spend your universal sculptures on another good commander to have for pvp or defense.

you can do Eulji and Scipio for garrison in the future when you get more sculptures or Eulji and Charles when you get him and max his first skill.

without expertise is the normal skill bonus, and with expertise (mean that particular skill has been enhanced, became better).

expertise only work when is unlocked, until then you do not get any bonus from that skill

for fights i use Yi/Richard, for defending Richard/Yi. Now i'm puzzled - should use Yi/Richard or Richard/Yi for defending?! :))
depending how many troops you have in the city, if you got a lot of troops then Yi/Richard
if you don't have over 1 mil use Richard and someone else as second like Charles/eulji/Scipio/Julius
but how do i select a commander to defend my city ? when i got attacked a conquering and peacekeeping commander defended when i have a realy good garrison commander i want to defend instead ??
click on the wall(the big gate)
there you can select your garrisoning commanders
in order for them to defend they have to be in the city

I want to play this game and tired of seeing it on fb commercials when it will be release in Japan or in Asia ? Geeeze if you guys gonna commercial it make sure you released it first......please
if you search google for proxy you can still play it, you might not be able to buy stuff but you can play it so don't blame me if you cannot buy stuff. But i cannot explain how it works i never used is just something others told me you can do to play games that are not available in your country. Search about proxy and inform yourself from there, mainly is about your IP address being recognized as in a different country, would suggest to that with a new google account so you don't mess with your main. My suggestion wait for the game to be released.

I have Richard 5/5/1 (infantry/defense talent path), max SunTzu (infantry/skill talent path) and max Eulji (garrison/attack talent path) For PvP, if i use I use Richard as primary should i pair him with SunTzu or Eulji?? Also, for city defense i have SunTzu paired with Eulji, would this be a good combo?? Thanks! :)

You mean for field battles to attack other players i should use SunTzu as primary and Richard as secondary, right? And for city defense use Richard as primary even though i would have Eulji with a good garrison/attack tree?? Wouldn’t it be better to have Eulji as primary because of his garrison/attack tree??

you need skill damage or you will not destroy the enemy
Richard max is good first but he also brings a lot of troops back meaning you can have a lot of dead in the city

Is there a way to get Yi Seong Ji? :/ I am a full archer player with a full infantry as my tank :/ Meaning I got 2 teams but Archer is main focus here :/ I want Yi Seong Ji so much. I am f2p but I really don't mind paying some to just up one Legendary to max :/ but you know how much I would have to pay for that? :O

you an get YSG first skill maxed then unlock the rest and he will be very good with archers on the skill talent path.

use 2 peacekeeper for 2 marches

Lohar. You want to get his 70% exp gain and pick up his talents "Quick Study" and "Trophy Hunter". Quick study gives you an extra 15% exp gain (85% total) and Trophy Hunter gives you 15 lvl 1 resource packs per barbarian that you defeat with him. Barbarians drop a ton of gems, so as a free to play player, it is important to constantly fight them. Lohar is crucial to lvling up commanders without wasting tomes of knowledge.
you got some good advice there from Yossarian and he is right, as f2p you should focus on Lohar but leveling his skills should be from your alliance (yourself) farming the Lohar event/raids so you can spend your universal sculptures on another good commander to have for pvp or defense.
