my opinion is that monsuno was a good concept, but poorly done, as i see with a lot of toys, movies, and video games.

Monsuno is still my favourite show. When I was younger, I wanted the toys but never had the cash. Now that I'm older, I can't find any in stores.

On paper monsuno sounds like a really cool idea but in practice it was very poorly thought out and what they should've done instead is give them an air functionality so that way it's more practical and accurate to the show how I could see this being a thing is adding fins on the sides to help stablize the cores but also making them spin as you throw them almost like a frisbee in a way
It still wouldn't make any sense because they stop with 1 collision, no customizability. It can't even be played in true sense its just pure collector's stuff. They took beyblade and turned it into something weird like beywheelz
A manufacturing defect. The ring covering the base screws was broken. Please don't try to open your own like I have; you WILL break it.

Now I understand why you haven't posted anything on your blog, you must have been working really hard on this.
I'm thinking of buying a pack of monsuno (the core toy things) just to see how well I think of them. Are there actual packs or only single packs?
also, which 3 would you recommend the most?
I've had this weird blue monsuno spider on my desk for years, and I'm only now finding out it had a TCG. The cores were a neat idea but the QC even on the Asian versions weren't great. I feel like if they just let you press a button and fire out a monster it might have worked better, and maybe had the monsters actually stand when launched because a ton of them just flopped out on the floor.
I remember having the whipper one, I didn't know what they were but I didn't care because I had a tiny lizard thing to play with at the time
The game seems really interesting. I think this one will be a good one. Looking forward to getting a Monsuno for myself

Kohdok do you think theirs two types packaging for wave 1 since i got a wave one driftblade it came with one figure one core and one poster but the wave one charger i got today was one figure one core and 3 cards and i didnt misread of driftblade it only came with 1 poster and the figure and core so did i get the defective packaging or was it really two types of packageing also just top clarify their both wave 1 they dont have that lock icon when you lock it thats on wave 2 and onwards.
Getting a montuno today so exited!

When are you gonna make more Bakugan reviews? Specifically the review you said you were going to make on the Japanese Bakugan.
Moonwave kinda looks like one of Destoroyahs forms from Godzilla vs Destoroyah, someone might have mentioned this before tho so meh

The red ones I use here? Oh, they're just crummy sleeves made from semi-transparent plastic I bought at Walmart. Handy for reviewing purposes, though.

Nice choice of Wild Arms 3 themes for the card game section. How I love those songs.
I think I may give this game a shot at some point. Sounds like it would be fun to play alongside Magic and Cardfight Vanguard.
i liked all the episodes of monsuno so far
The cores are much better quality from Wave 2 onwards.

Uh, Kohdok, I have never had defects with wave 1 Cores, but I've had a problem with a WAVE 3 CORE that happened to that Quickforce.

Hit counters, it shows damage. Most likely you need to buy the, separately from a completely different game company.
Uh,... Kohdok, the toys ARE integrated into the card game now,... but not in a very good way it seems... It's on the gameplay section of the website, in the Intermediate rules.
Amazing review by the way. :) The info on the mechanism on the cores was really interesting! As well as your quick and to the point card game overview where everything that needed to be said was said. :P

I dont think you pointed out that they say "Return" to call back their Monsuno, just like in Pokemon.

If you take the toys out of the equation and keep the cards alone it seems like a solid game.
I mean the Advanced game, the one I demonstrate here.

The first ep. was good, after that I couldn't watch it anymore. The simpleness was to much. But, I'll give season 2 a try.
