  • This is a video about a Yamaha TY 125 Restoration.
In this video you will see me dissembling, cleaning, changing parts, spraying, and assembling the motorcycle. It is not a full restoration of the bike because most of the parts were in a good condition because it was also restored some years ago. There were a lot of things that I did and forget to record or decided not to because of the length of the video. For example here is a list of some of the things that I changed, added or modified and are not on the video, I changed the clutch, rear mudguard, rear shocks, hand grips, clutch and brake cable, front sprocket, gearbox oil, gaskets, front brake, brake switch, some of the wiring, modified the stand, added a foot peg and a lot more. This was also my first time restoring a motorcycle, but I think that for a first time project it went very well and I'm very happy with the result.

I hope you do other trials bike restoration. Maybe make it longer than one episode, go into details about what you are doing, and narrate it. Outstanding job!

14 minutes of that music almost drove me crazy. But the bike looks great.

The last turn of your last bolt was the beginning of my restoration.

Hi ripmax333, thanks for your comment, I will be uploading another restoration video of a suzuki A80 in the coming weeks. (also a very famous bike in gozo in the old days). I think you will like it because it's more in detail and it includes the disassembly.

Awesome work!! I have one of those and I need to replace the rear shock absorbers. Do you know where can I buy them, and which the perfect size? Thanks

Im surprised you have to be told about the music. I skipped most of the vid because of the music, then i couldnt hear the bike anyway.

Hi Robby, you don't like the music ? I had to add the music because of the speed of the video.
