ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Long held high notes? Thats literally one of the things he's famous for u clearly didn't listen to his stuff or being ignorant...he literally did that in this songs that Rebecca is reacting to??? I don't know, but when I was introduced to Dimash 3 days ago, I can't stop watching him all day like FOR REAL. I'm Filipino and has many local singers to be proud of yet it seems that Dimash was my new favorite! He's stunning and has a marvelous and powerful voice! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH❤❤❤

@@philharris5848 i mean i doubt the vocal coaches' backgrounds a bit. You can be a pro vocal coach by completing some lower music school and only knowing the material you were presented with, while building your reputation from there or lucking out with talented students. Most counter tenors in opera are on dimash's level and HAVE to be, it's their job to be. And in terms of diversity, dimash doesn't scratch the surface of someone like....mike patton (i think rebecca reacted to a compilation of him at some point, and that vid didn't even feature half the things he does).
You don't have to take my word for it though, I have a vid on my channel comparing him to legends of other, lesser known genres of music. It gives a slightly more accurate perspective where he stands. There's like 20 other singers I can easily compare him to but then the video would be 5 hours long lol

Very nice reaction from a good vocal coach. Dimash is rare and special in many ways especially when delivering a song. His low and high notes are drowning us. The key changes in this song are breathtaking.Singing a song like this with such power and emotions is mind blowing.Dimash is showcasing all of his vocal techniques that he learned, combined with an outstanding stage presence, so amazing to watch.Dimash is an inspiration to everyone.
He is a force of nature and truly in a class all of his own. Dimash has been influenced by so many musical styles and influences that it is almost impossible to categorise him. So frustrating that he hasn't had the exposure or recognition he so rightly deserves in the English speaking world. More folks deserve to hear this voice and experience his dynamic performances. He seems to transcend time- the theatrical performance with more than a touch of Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson clearly on display would be totally cheesy and dated if it were done by anyone else yest Dimash has created a truly modern international style that is similar in many ways to the level of polish and professionalism seen in K POP acts like BTS. ANd still no physical CD available!

Dear Rebecca, if you can handle crying PLEASE react to another new song from him Dimash Marigold. It is an Ukranian song and his mother is in the audience. By the time he is finished she can't wipe away her tears from crying even though she tries. I was the same way and I don't even know the words. The fact that his mother can't stop crying tells me it is very special.

One thing we can all be sure of; Dimash will give his all on every song. The most incredible singer I've ever heard and I've heard thousands in my 76 years on this planet. Hundreds even lol.
Do you know Daniel Emmet? He was on America's Got Talent last year of the year before. He got to the Finals and I believe Simon Cowell called the great baritone-tenor Placido Domingo about Daniel and as a result they sang a duet. All Daniel's performances are here on youtube. Daniel is young so I think you could critique him nicely.

Yes, he would be awesome in a Bond movie! I would love to see that. He has done quite a few OSTs already but most have been in China for movies , TV shows and an online game. I can drop you some links if you are interested. He even won an American Music award for one of them! He also did the OST for a new movie by an Italian director which was supposed to premiere on March 19, but it has been postponed due to the coronavirus. I can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so the movie will show in theatres and we can get to hear Dimash. Btw, the song is in English.

He sings in many different styles including pop, opera, rnb, folk. He also sings in 12 different languages, has a 6+octave vocal range and holds 2 university degrees in music and is currently working on his Masters in composition.

EPIC!!! He is peerless. Dimash has done more to unite disparate peoples in the 3 yrs since he was thrust upon the world stage than the United Nations has done since it's inception. IMHO .... He is a gift to mankind in dire times. He is not alien. But he is from another place -- and perhaps is here to show us our better selves with his perfection.

There is him singing "The drunken Concubine+Diva Dance" with Li Yugang (amazing Chinese opera singer, I think he performs (or used to perform) the female parts in the Chinese opera. Traditionally only men performed in the opera but I don't know if this still holds today). The harmonies at the end are insane! I also would recommend "Swan Goose" that he sings with Tengri. A remarkable performance! Very unique!
