    This Van came to me with an issue with the MAF.
    The problem in the end was rather simple to resolve... but I will take you through the diagnostic and testing of the circuit, to correctly diagnose the faulty component.

    Merci pour ta précieuse vidéo. Même problème, voyant préchauffage, voyant moteur allumé et serv. La même valise de diagnostique me donné les code défaut DF025, DF056 et DF569. Après de multiple recherche et exploration de panne, le remplacement du débitmètre à résolut le problème, il me reste juste à remplacer le boitier de préchauffage. Un grand merci à toi pour ta vidéo.

    Ich habe genau den gleichen Fehler im Renault Espace, nur der Fehler erscheint erst bei 3500U/min. Nach dem Löschen ist alles wieder OK. Mittlerweile habe ich 3 Luftmengenmesser, ein alten Bosch, ein mittel neuen Bosch und ein NRC. Die zwei Bosch sind alt und haben zu wenig Luftmasse, der andere geht nur bis 5 Grad und nicht über 35 Grad. Dazwischen ist er gut. Also tausche ich ständig die Sensoren. Es kommt immer der Fehler F056. Mal früher, mal später. Leider kann ich die Spannung nicht auslesen, trotz clip Vollversion.
    Ich werde das weiter testen mit Druckluft. Ich mache dazu ein Video auf meinem Kanal.

    Always pays to check non genuine parts for correct fitment before proceeding, or learn the hard way like this poor guy. Weather seals and plastic pin guides often come adrift and end up where they shouldn't be on the wrong side of a plug or module. Merry Christmas Luis and thanks for the great videos.

    Nice1 mate, some plugs can be a nightmare specially the ECU ones, I always try keep them as straight as possible going in some of the pins are so thin and easy to bend ... cheers 👍

    I got a head aich with the wifes focus, got p0056 so changed the bank 2 sensor 2 and still the code is there so gonna read the live data with the maxysis and see what's going on! Merry Christmas! Lol

    I've got a sluggish M9R that has a MAF sensor reading of 1.8V at tickover. I'd expect 2+V . Whats your experience, do some have this low a voltage?

    What way does it affect the running of van ref air flow sensor ? Does van keep stopping , rough idle etc.

      Depends how it failed... if failed in a way that the engine ecu fails to detect a fault, mixture might be wrong, and engine can run poorly etc...
      If it fails in a way that the engine ecu sees a problem, usually ignores the readings from the sensor and runs a calculated value... and obviously throws the engine light...

    16:25 you say "car lost the injector codes" Luis; what would be the symptoms of that, how did you find out? I have a 2004 1.9 DCI Laguna here, and i suspect the same, the idle is a bit rough; thanks

      In this case, if I recall correctly, comes up with a code for it...
      But you can always check the codes stored in the ecu... if you think you having that...

    MAF 5WK9609 7700314057 ,error DF056 on a 2004 LAGUNA 1.9 DCI; does it it output frequency,or voltage?

      I believe is voltage...
      Check the voltage between pin 2 and 5 (maf connected), if the value is not somewhere between 0.5v and 0.7v, then the MAF is probably faulty...
      Providing every thing else is ok...

      @@LMAutoRepairs @LM Auto Repairs I do get .67V key on eng off; but it's 2.85V at idle,and 2.8V snap gas; what do you think? big red "STOP DESLIGAR IGNIÇÃO" led/light always on,and that cannot be erased with Delphi;
      also get 24kg/hr at idle, and several errors, DF197 DF301 DF066 DF120 DF126 permanent ;
      switced the MAF with another one(used,unknown!),same thing.
      The MAP,how many Volts should it read at idle (and eng.off? Thanks

    Luis, if you disconect the plug from sensor did you see 5V on scan tool ? Would that indicate that signal wire and ECU are good?

    Hi, I change my sensor with one exactly like yours and suddenly I have one more error. First is Mass or volume air flow A circuit, and second, Intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit. Do you know what can be? In DataStream I have Air flow rate from mass airflow sensor 0.00g/s, how much needs to be normal?

    Have changed sensors and egr changed wire loom as stripped old one and seen it had been repaired in few places and looked a mess and still getting same faults ?

      Hi luis back again lol my trafic 09 van is a nightmare can you help with new problem🤦‍♂️😂 right got camshaft sensor fault DF119 signal incoherence have put new timing chain kit on as timing was out but still getting same fault have tried sensor in mates van and fault doesn’t appear 🤷‍♂️ Need help asap thanks

      OK... that's a bit better...
      Pin 2 should be ground...
      Pin 4 should be voltage... most likely 12 volts...
      Pin 1 and 5 signals to the ecu...
      Looks like Pin 1 is a temperature sensor...
      And Pin 5 the flow meter sensor signal...
      Hope that helps...

      On the temperature sensor possibility...
      On the flow meter, no...
      The signal most likely will be PWM or Frequency... for that you will need a scope...
