    Good to hear from you!
How is your Stevens 301 single shot?

Thanks for the comparison. I have a bunch of cheapie ratchets that have served me well for home use but want to get a snap on 3/8 because I like the made in USA aspect.
Does the F100 series have any drawbacks that I should be aware of before picking it up?
I heard backdrag was noticeable and that if you push down on the direction switch it starts to freewheel. I’m not sure if those issues have been worked out since all the videos about them I’ve seen are like 3-4 months old.

I’ve not had any issues with the freewheel. Also I’ve not noticed the back drag to be an issue for me either. I really like it but also like the 80 as well. I don’t think you could go wrong with either. I do in general prefer the hard handles that is currently only available in the 80s just because they clean up easy and I just like the way they look. However the comfort grip on the 100 is far more comfortable. Im just a home user as well but am trying to go to strictly quality and preferably USA made tools as well. Life is too short to work with junk lol.

@@farmer-0639 i also have both ratchets and i am probably the first one in germany. Compared to the x80 the x100 feels not fully developed. Everything just feels as it was released in some kind of beta version. The x80 is way more smooth and yes,...in optics nothing beats a fhd80. The f100 is ok, the retro style looks good. The fh100 is some way of "i am not suire if i want to be retro by the stamp or modern by the handle". Thanks for the video.
