This is a custom chopper mini bike that we made from scratch. Custom frame, downhill mountain bike forks, custom laced front wheel, northern tool engine, and a whole bunch of parts purchased on Amazon.

Nice. Yeah, thats why I bought everything new on this one basically. I did have some experience building a motorcycle frame with a friend of mine and my dad is a career welder so we got things done pretty quick.
Andy Heck yeah I’m using bits and pieces on my build 125cc 2 stroke in a mountain bike frame . Take a look if you like any advice would be helpful!

Hey Andy bitchen chopper. I have a suggestion for your seat the spring action I’m building a chopper similar to what you got there I’m using especially because you love mountain bikes I’m using mountain bike rear shock absorbers little spring coil overs you might want to try those as they have a adjustable dampening on your seat Instead of just straight springs but otherwise beautiful chopper great job! If you look at my picture description that’s a 69 doodlebug stage one have to have a wheelie bars because it’s too radical otherwise so I’m down for what you’re doing have a great day

hows it holding up to time and useage?
Everything's been good! Only small issue has been adding air to the rear tire. The way I had to mount the brake rotor makes it so I have to do a bit of disassembly in order to get at the valve. Otherwise, haven't had to change anything or make any adjustments. Thanks for checking out the video!

Where did you get the suspension forks also do they fit a Baja doodle bug
They are 29" downhill mountain bike forks that I believe I got on eBay but mtb parts are very hard to get in general right now. I doubt the head tube is the right diameter on a doodlebug to accept a bicycle headset but on top of that, these would be waaay too long.
