As an adult with my own singing children, she asked me and a couple of my daughters to join her singing this song at a special service at a nearby church. I never thought it affected me so deeply until I found myself trying to recover from my mothers passing. It has been 5 years and this song has been stuck in my head as I’ve thanked God for my newest grandchild. I’m certain my momma kissed her before she came here from heaven.
