Like Choedon, a majority of Tibetan refugees began their life in Ladakh working as roadside laborers. Though few like Choedon still continue with this work today, many have since long changed their profession and have now become traders.

Exactly, as a Ladakhi it would help me to learn Tibetan as well. There’s a need for greater cohesion between Ladakhis and Tibetans as historically we’re very connected. Most part of Ladakh was in Tibet before the division of the empire in 900ad century.

LS must support these Tibetans rather than constructing big buildings,around 2000 Tibetans migrate to west each year,we can’t stop it,after 10 years only 40,000 Tibetans wil be left in india so what should we do with big buildings??
