- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

The owners and/or maintenance crew of that triangle trash rack owe you such thanks for your diligent oversight.
Yup
Diligent oversight, what a fantastic choice of words.
They don't owe him shit!
Those who are positively affected by his work owe thanks. Owners are just benefiting from free (to them) labor
2:23 I appreciate that you used your turn indicator on a dirt road in the middle of a wildlife area. Great muscle memory to have!
I don't really know how I ended up on this part of youtube, but im very glad I did. What you do is awesome, your enthusiasm is wonderful and im slowly binging all your vids
None of us know how we ended up here, but it's so strangely addictive and satisfying to watch that we end up back here over and over again 😆👍🏼
Welcome to the party!🤣
yay the triangle rack, our old friend
I enjoy your driving into the forest and showing the ponds and beaver houses and wildlife! It's the only way I can see this kind of stuff anymore. I appreciate you filming your adventures! ❤❤❤
Have you ever had an encounter with a passerby who told you that they are watching your videos and helped you do the job?
We’ve got a very decent maintenance crew here in the Netherlands for all grates and culverts, so I never get to do this myself. But watching you unclog culvert after culvert is just as enjoyable 👍🏻 Keep doing what you’re doing Post! It’s awesome ☺️
You seriously cleaned out around the last culvert, and the “CATCH-ALL-SCREEN.” Did a fantastic job on it POST. BRAVO 👍 BRAVO 👍
Post you are a Legend keep up your great content, and love when you do your homestead type videos too 😎👋🍺🍺
We call those little black flies "no see ums". They are so irritating and even though they're really small they will take a chunk out of you. Thank you for all you do to help nature! You have my respect!! P.S. I'm glad you're wearing the hard hat. :)
I hate no see ums. I'm from Long Island and those things would eat my legs alive whenever I was helping my dad do yard work.
My issue with those little... pests... is that they LOVE to land on my eyeballs.
Yay! Super excited!! I live for this kind of fun!!
I got your notice Post, and I already know this is going to be a excellent video to watch!! Great work!!
We had an extra-hot and dry summer here in Oregon a few years back. It was hard on the trees and bodies of water, but I had a banner year growing tomatoes. I canned over 30 cases of maters, sauce, and paste that year.
I always enjoy your visits to the Trash Rack, Postie. 😊
Ooh, now I hungry!
@@MonkeyJedi99 😂
Could the beavers get thru that opening in the trash rack where a rebar is missing?
Small one could, but those things are pretty big some even getting bigger than 100 lb
I like to imagine that in beaver lodges across the NE, there are tiny Wanted posters up with Post 10's face on them.
Would love to see your pond setup! I think it would be a great video
Some of your older videos you show some box culverts. We have box culverts on our property that were built back in the late 1740s and are still in perfect working condition. Flat granite rocks to make a floor, two retaining walls with flat-sided granite rocks to make the sides and flat slabs of granite rock to make the ceilings. You know being built in the 1700's they were definitely hand-built and the rocks with hand-cut, and they probably use oxen with a makeshift pulley and rope system to place the big rocks where they wanted them.
30 min vídeo. Exactly what I need right now to fall asleep
You care about the earth. I wish that we all. Thank you for sharing with me 😊
Who doesn’t love seeing that a new Post 10 video has been uploaded. 💙
I’ve driven through Sacramento, CA were they have tunnels of trees. It’s so cool.
Love your content. Clean, interesting, and well done videos. Keep them coming!
Yay I’m sooo happy it’s spring. Bring on the beavers. Good job postie
Another fantastic job done and can head to bed and sleap soundly , always worth a wait to see what you do and get clear. Well done.
The excitement with this trash rack is the same level as the lake intake / drain.
What a great hobby you have. Thanks Chris from England
My favorite trash rack! 🎉
Thanks for another fun video today Post!🎉 🏆🥇
Thank you!
Dyslexia is a bitch. I suffer from directional dyslexia. Keep up the good work Post!
Thanks Post!👊👍
“Is Bigfoot making that tapping noise ? I’ll have to take him down”
Unintentionally hilarious. Great stuff
Ah, the notorious triangular trash rack. Love seeing you unclog this trash rack! Keep up the amazing work Post 10!
Thank you for showing us the switched video
I knew it was gonna be a good spring. So many unclogging videos 😍♥️🥰
I legit feel like we're friends 😁
Hello from Tampa FL 😊
"Thats really sticky" *pulls stick up from under water* "I mean stinky." Comedic genius!
I love the deep, low-end "glug glug" sounds as you were unclogging the grate pipe at 21:05!
A little bit of effort and those getting paid to clean and fix things would actually clean and fix things. Nice job again, Post. 🙂
You're awesome ❤
it was awesome!
Nice!
I really enjoy this kind of stuff great job post 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for another great video
Cool😊
👍
@Yrmxl Patreon
I love that clearing of the trash rack.
Great camera...very clear. It's like we are there with you!
Great stuff as usual
Ah Post....the Triangular Trash Rack, the gift that keeps on giving.
You are a master of your craft
I remember the last time you did a countdown your camera and tripod fell over in a culvert right into the water....lol.
Loved the video Post! 🐸
Love how you switch the cameras at the end.
Another awesome video. Thanks Post 10 for the best content on CZcams 👍
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK IN SAVING THE FROGS.
You can get a fan that you attach to a hard hat. Bugs do not like moving air, that is why they have ceiling fans on porches in Florida!
I don't have enough time to watch your full videos so I watch your videos at 2 times speed so I can still try and watch every video
My favourite triangular trash rack!
I love your videos love from india🇮🇳🇮🇳
Great video, always enjoy the beaver stories
that is a great grate that's being used there!!!😊
Good job post 10! ❤
Love your Bigfoot car freshener, I'm surprised you haven't seen one.
You have a great life. Thanks for sharing.
Cool
Beaver enemy #1 love your videos bro. Both channels. Taste more old canned food!!!! Thanks for all you do!
Post 10. I have discovered tadpoles will happily eat spinach too in a pinch. I enjoy watching you in the area I grew up in. No culverts like this in my area of NW Ohio.
Lettuce as well. But they advise you to boil all the greens up for a short time to help break it down. It's amazing how fast it disappears when you have a large amount of tadpoles tucking in. Tadpoles don't develop if there isn't enough food, their life cycle adjusts. So if you want frogs, make sure they are fed if you have a pond full of them.
starting to film with the new gear? video looks great. keep up all the wonderful work man! much appreciated.
Wooohooo Massachusetts
I’d absolutely love to go with you one of these days and helping you out because I do the same thing around here. I think we’d get along great 👍🏻
Much Luv from Raymond Maine
Save the frogs! Lol good on ya, buddy!
When you said “here we go”! I immediately knew that you were going to say “1,2,3” next. I said it in perfect sync with you. 😂
About mosquitos: The itching from the bites are due to an allergic reaction from the stuff that the mosquito injects to hinder the blod from clotting. I take regular allergy medicine all summer to avoid a lot of that reaction and the itching. Just regular, non prescription anti histamine pills.
You will get bitten just the same, but you don't get as much redness and itching. That takes away a bit of the" panic" from mosquitos attacking.😅
Post 10 is the Steve1989MREInfo of drainage. Gentle, wholesome, and nice.
I love the information to told about the emerald ash bore. We own 63 acres and there are many ash trees, maple, hemlock etc. here. and the Ash have been hit hard. I even spotted an spotted lantern bug. seems every year we see invasive species.
LOL OMG I have the same air freshener!! We are BigFoot twins! (Mine doesn't smell anymore either, but I drip essential oil on him every so often.) Midwest Magic Cleaning sent me here a while ago. I am so glad he did!
Hey Culvert Man, Kenislovas has proved in Lithuanian canals that beavers there DO REUSE timber tossed on the shore after a clearing. He went back to one of his dam breaks and found that the beavers came on shore and dragged brush back into the canal to rebuild the dam in the same spot. They did not cut down fresh timber, but reused old timber that had already been cut previously.
He (Post 10) did say that beavers will reuse old stuff if they had to. I would like to see that video that you speak of. (I am not pretending to know much about beaver behaviour.)
*hey, Butt Head, he said "beaver"*
*He said "Beaver" huh uh huh uh
@@jamesalinio5277 I do love stupid beavis and butthead heterosexual jokes !! Straight people amuse me !! I DON'T DO BEAVER !!
I wonder if the duck will come back. Keep up the awsome vids. ✌
Daily dose of post 10
A Post 10 a day keeps the boring away
Bugs in the eyes and ears is the worst!! Do you have one of those net head covers? That should help. Take care!
And...I love camera 2 !
Bet this dude will make a great dad one day.
"Beavers are lazy." I guess that's where we get the old saying, "busy as a lazy beaver."
❤❤❤
I think it would be cool if a popular automotive custom shop collaborated with post 10 and customized his vehicle to handle any and all terrains
My 2nd favorite grate
Hey post, great video! We have a huge issue on eastern Long Island too, but with the southern pine beetle. It’s too cold I think up near you for them to survive the winter but last few years we get fewer and fewer snow and less super cold days and they are surviving and extending their range north. Entire sections of our unique pitch pine forests are just dead. The forests are not managed well here and too dense to burn. I wonder if the beetles will spread up to you. Did my final paper in college on them and it looks like eventually if winters keep getting warmer they may
I am fiddling "Swinging on a Gate" on my violin.....
Its not just a good culvert, its a grate culvert!
Groan:-)
Mosquitoes love me. I can't stand them.Hope you have better luck. Enjoyed the video, thank you.
Trash rack clogged again. Beavers will be pissed. Oh well, too bad. Second culvert blasted. Too cool. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I lived in Minnesota many moons ago, I never knew there were so many blood sucking flying insects. From ticks to black flies and then the deer flies! Them critters have big teeth lol. Enjoy your videos and all the info you share with us! Love ya kiddo!
5:09 wow, so many trees gone 😮
Omg I gasped when you pulled that mud covered log. I thought it was a body! 🫣
I here you talk a lot about Massachusetts I'm from Massachusetts what part are you investigating because I never knew any of this was going on I so enjoy watching it's relaxing
Rock walls = dry stone walls = (at least) centuries-old way of creating field boundaries here in the UK. And with the double benefit of being free and, as you say, a use for all the rocks cleared from the fields. Likely came across the pond with the folks from here and Ireland..
I grew up in New England and finally realized that the walls were just a convenient place to pile up the stones at the edge of your fields, as one would gradually plow them up. They didn't serve to keep anything in or out.
cool vid as norm how the truck working out for you
Post 10, can you set up a trial cam to show beavers at work damming?
May I suggest getting a lav mic so you don’t have to worry about us not being able to hear you when you’re far away if you’ve placed the camera on a tripod?
I really enjoyed floating moose poop story.
Did you see the video o it? It was gross.
Find it sort of weird about how long it takes ice and winter to disappear, considering that the entire contiguous USA is south of all of the UK, and we barely get much frost at all, these days.
