Raina usually doesn't talk if she doesn't care for something so the dough looks really overcooked and hard... was that the case dear? if she really liked something she talks a lot and she talks about the food and she'll tell you right away that she likes it... but because she's not talking at all I know she's just trying to complete the challenge that she doesn't care for the food....if the owner sees my comment please cook your onions ahead of time and put cooked onions inside and then make up the rest of the weight with other meats andand cheeses this looks okay but the dough was way over cooked and the insides were just all onion in for a lot of people red Onion is very overwhelming....
Seriously!! Why so many raw onions they could’ve balanced it out more by putting sautéed onions, peppers and mushrooms. Didn’t even try to make it flavorful:/

I have never seen a calzone cooked like that. Was definitely dry and over baked...hardly any sauce or cheese. It was basically a giant baked onion dumpling. Ugh...
Even dumplings are juicy.. It looked so tough and dry😂

One super annoying owner coming up..😂 I dislike watching challenges when the owner tries to sabotage. From the time, to burning it, and making it look disgusting. All the onions. You know he was upset he had to give the money back. 😂
He told someone that there was a pound of meatballs, a pound of onions, a pound and a half of dough...just sounds gross. The cooks need to be whooped for burning those calzones. They would have been beautiful with fewer minutes in the oven.

@@lhorne4808 they would have been raw inside if cooked less. Calzones aren't easy to cook to the center, especially in a 550 degree pizza oven. I eat them very often and even regular sized calzones often come out cold in the middle if not browned well outside. 1 place I get them from requires me to order them well done just so the middle isn't cold. The thicker they are, the longer they need to cook.
That's what I was thinking lol took the words out of my mouth 🤣 gosh, seriously I wanna know how many onions are in one calzone. Lol

Agree completely! That owner dude was horrible! You can tell from his tone of voice and annoying comments that he was not too happy about them defeating his nasty “undefeated” challenge. Makes me mad how he basically lied about everything and had nothing to offer the winners at the end.
I know!!! The owner said, yeah we can do that. Then the cook came out and said I can't do a dessert pizza man. I was like, what a butthole to lie about the dessert pizza.
