In this clip, Freeway Ricky shared his thoughts on Kodak Black recently being sentenced to nearly 4 years in prison over gun charges, and he spoke about some people getting out of their neighborhoods only to get back in the streets. He added that it all boils down to who you surround yourself with, adding that he surrounds himself with people who are smarter than him. Ricky then stated that anyone can pick up a gun and kill someone, but it's more important to save lives and improve your community.
During the conversation, Freeway Ricky spoke about his grandfather having 24 children, including Ricky's mother, as he explained that his grandfather was a sharecropper who wanted more children to help him pick cotton and make more money.
