Aids, nuclear annihilation and the crack epidemic are pretty weak arguments against the 80s. They didn't really have any effect on those with their compass pointed in the right direction. Which was the vast majority. You could make those type of arguments about every decade. I can assure you the 80s were the last great decade. Its been completely downhill ever since. It was the last time we had true freedom.
