I think it would be interesting if you kept a tally of how many times you used an eyeshadow for like 2 weeks or a month. It would be interesting to see which shadows you use the most frequently!

I love that you opened all the palettes together. It drives me crazy to watch declutter where people keep multiples of similar colors; I always wonder if they realize how close so many of their colors are.
Same! That's why I am moving away from palettes towards a curated collection of singles. I always end up with at least a couple repeat colours/shades. I treated myself ot my first Juvia's palette, and while it is beautiful, I did end up with quite a few similar shades to things I already own.. in multiple.
They probably never use most of their palettes because otherwise they'd notice that they come up with similar looks even without opening them up. I too get so annoyed when a person opens up 10 of virtually the same palettes in the same declutter (not in a row though) and they're like 'oh I love these shades of course I'm keeping it' with every one of them.
I'm not sure if you aware yet Hannah but the blush you love in the Samantha March Ofra palette is the same as her individual blush that I'm pretty sure you still have! The single blush is a split pan with that palette blush in it!

I know this isn’t your aim, but every time you do a palette collection video, or a duping the vibes video where the ND Gold palette makes an appearance, makes my heart yearn for it. Your palette is so organically well loved (I watch a lot of project pan videos and making a concerted effort to use something is a very different experience) that it seems like a good decision to buy it. But my palette collection is very out of hand and I love colourful makeup so much that it wouldn’t be a good decision for me, right now. But the yearning remains 💕

I honestly love how your style of makeup and our taste has lead you to have such a true and curated collection of palettes that works for you. I also can really appreciate that it is not worth it to keep a whole palette just to reach in for 1 or 2 shades when you have similar in palettes you love. I also need to do this and this is motivation for me to really look at what I am using. And what I am not. And why.

You've had certain pallettes for years. Surely they've gone by their use by date? I would love to see a video on how, quality wise, they stack up to "fresh" pallettes. It makes me so sad I didn't get to use a lot of my makeup this year due to Covid, and I'm scared they might get wasted. But I am hoping use by dates are a bit BS. 😂😂Although my Modern Renaissance pallette after a few years did go quite chalky but no where close to the 6 months the sticker on the back said.... Anyway, would love to hear your opinion on the idea (could be marketing BS) that we have to keep replenishing our collections as makeup expires.
I'd look up some makeup artists on how to properly sanitize makeup. That tends to extend the shelf life of powder makeup by a *lot*
But you're right, I had to declutter some favorites recently because they were clearly expired
No. The sticker on the back isn't the expiry. It's the PAO. which is period after opening. It means the quality of the product may not be as good after that period of time. It doesn't mean it's expiring. Eyeshadow palettes can take years to go bad. Unless the formula is messed up or you get an infection, you're just throwing away fine products for no reason.

I remember when it was gifted to her she loved it so. Attempts were made to look for the video, but I failed 😢.
I don't remember the video or timeline, alas. But I do recall that the quality of the shadows was starting to fade with age, as it was already pre-loved when Hannah received it as a gift during her no-buy year.
Isabelle Solmaz that makes total sense maybe she never showed it and we can assume that. I may be transplanting my feelings about the star palette considering I coveted for a super long time, but never pulled the trigger.

sigh....seeing the Club Nebula palette makes me yearn for it....alas, I did not get my hands on it after the restock, so I guess I will live vicariously through HPL using Club Nebula! Probably for the best, but if it ever does come back, I will most certainly & confidently buy it!
I hate to be the one to break the news, but I heard the Club Nebula isn't coming back. Angelica tweeted that with the last restock of it, so I'm pretty sure that's accurate information considering I saw a screen shot of the tweet.
I had it in my cart but when I was about to check out, I saw that it would cost me 75 dollar with shipping and custom fees... I couldn't justify it :[

I found my ND Sunrise palette uncreative until I rearranged all the colours to how I prefer them.
I have the Älva II and it is just absolutely gorgeous and inspiring.
I also refer to my palettes as my ‘friends’ 🥰
I have the Huda New Nude, which you have/had the dupe for, and I loved it. Recently, every look I tried looked the same, and it had somehow gone from mauve/purple to copper/berry, and I no longer liked the special shadows. I got rid of it. That middle-large-Odin’s Eye palette called my name. I wish you still had it so I could see it.
Looks like you could easily pop out the oft a palette into singles. Which leads me to…do you have a custom palette of face singles?
Hi Hannah Maybe someone has already suggested it but why don't you rearrange the sunrise palette? perhaps that way it would be more appealing. I think you have been able to reach the perfect balance between having a curated collection yet enough variety to feel inspired all the time.
