- Only in Britain can foreigners just turn up never having worked a day in this country and get housed and receive benefits. Many left wingers try to deny this and dismiss it as right wing hysteria, and yet time and time again they are proven wrong.......
The Romanian guy and his wife never worked here. He just claimed ESA when he arrived and then went back to Romania to bring his wife and 5 kids back here...... - Hudba

With millions of UK citizens & long-term residents on the waiting list for housing for years, it's appalling that an unemployed, penniless Romanian couple with their FIVE kids can just show up in the UK & demand housing & benefits from local councils in London - & it's even more appalling that within 2 weeks one of those councils gives them a 4 BR house that's just been beautifully renovated & kitted out. I'm not from the UK, but if I were I'd certainly be voting FOR Brexit! The EU rules that force UK taxpayers to house & support freeloaders (& their large families) from poor EU countries is ridiculous! Also if life is so hard in their home countries, why have all those kids?

I'm from the USA and have been watching these types of shows for a while now. It seems to me that this family knew the rules of the housing system. That is why they left and came back with their children. They were also willing to live in whatever town a home was found for them. In other shows, it seemed to me that people were not willing to leave a place they were familiar with even if it meant not having a home.
you're completely right he knew they would get housing if he took his children with him to the UK, he knew that the council has a responsibility and it's incredibly frustrating for someone such as myself which has a disability and can only live independently if receiving help from the council because he is abusing the system he is taking resources from people who need it which didn't put themselves in these positions, I didn't ask to be disabled but he chose to put himself in a position that he would need help

To be honest - they didn’t get a council house. They were housed by the council - 120 miles away from where they wanted and if he doesn’t get a job inside 3 months they get evicted.
It’s hardly the same thing as getting a 5 year tenancy in council owned property

Anyone in the uk that is on a low income with less than $16000 in savings can get housing benefits which is paid to a private landlords there are very few council houses

In the last decade 500,000 immigrants have been given social housing whilst we have 1.25 Million indigenous people sat waiting on council house waiting lists and have been there for years. Not to mention we have 125,000 kids in care. High time the priorities were reversed.

What makes me very cross is how the lady states that they are not going back home, "no going back, nothing" or words to that effect, its difficult to understand her as she obviously speaks very little English, but I think she is trying to say that their Country has nothing for them to go back to. Its not their choice, if they cannot support themselves then they do not have the right to say I am not going home, they should never have been allowed to come to the UK in the first place. This country is a very expensive place to live, and if the immigrants have no job and accommodation lined up, no money etc... before leaving their home country, they should be blocked from entering the UK. Its got to stop this arrogant, demanding, I am here to stay attitude, the scroungers in Calais have the same attitude. No matter how many times they may be removed, if their asylum claim is rejected, they still keep returning, believing its their human right to be here in the UK. They are in France and should claim there, as France is more than twice the land mass of this densley overcrowded Island.
Why do they believe that this Country should offer them what they cannot obtain back home ? Her Husband was in the UK earlier on his own, working in a car wash, but then it seems he lost that employment and was forced to give up the accommodation he had. He then returns home and brings in his Wife and kids, demanding that they are all housed at the expense to our tax payer. Its irresponsible, selfish and bloody outrageous that they just turn up and expect to take up social housing when thousands of our own people wait more than 10 years for such an opportunity.
There is a video on CZcams where a large Gypsy family from somewhere in Eastern block Europe, I think they are Roma, clearly say that they are here to take British Benefits, they also state, "we no go home, Romania finished, no good, Britain good, very good. Then the Father faces the camera and says, "we get everything for free, free home, electric, free school, money, hospital care, we get all this free, thank you British people, I am never going back, my country Romania finished, shit, no good. He then says "I take British benefits as long as I can" its disgusting. Another Polish family also with a football team size family, have been given social housing and welfare when they too have only just arrived and have never made any contribution to this nation. They state they are in no hurry to find work, why should they when free money is flowing into their bank account for doing nothing. Their only desire was to save up the Air Fare to send back home so more members of their family could come and join them.
The UK must stop all this nonsense and do what all other sensible countries do, only let in people with skills that are needed, a job offer and means of supporting themselves immediately. They must also rent or buy in the private sector, no social housing should be made available for newly arrived foreigners. Health care insurance must also be a requirement as our NHS cannot go on supporting people who have not paid into the system.
And , it is this happening now after being out of EU ? PS : there will still be more coming , you should make a Visa type system like Canada/USA/Australia has .

Really this annoys me, when I was working,after 2o years ,as a single uk born ,parent left work to have my child, and was in one bedroom tower block I waited 5 months to get 2 bedroom flat, and almost lost my home waiting 2 months for Housing benefit. No justice. We are absolutely ridiculous putting other counties before our own and they seen to just expect it.

We live in Scotland and me and my husband and I split up for 6 months He left and stayed in a hostile and he is disabled in a wheel chair he was on priority point for a house he was told foreigners are more important than you to be homed because they don't want to be seen as racist because he was in and wheelchair worked all his life and paid taxes he never got a house and wee had to bring him home because of illness

To be honest, having been involved here with the authorities and having a British baby, I often wonder if these shows aren't just some scams. It is incredibly difficult to claim benefits as a European. And the council houses are only offered to those who have been granted permanent residency by the home office, which usually comes after 5 years of lawfully living in the UK. Not sure what these shows are about.

This is why I voted out. We don't have enough housing to house people with so many kids anymore. I have one child in a two bedroom while one of my neighbours has 4 kids in a two bedroom and the neighbour above me has 3 kids in a two bedroom I hear the kids struggle at night to sleep with their single room as the parents have the double room, while my son enjoys his double room to himself as I'm happy in a single room as it's cosy plus with just my one child I'm able to study as a nurse. I want my child to have a stress free childhood and if in future I can afford to have another child it will be just 1 and no more.

I understand what you mean and I agree but in Romania form what I was taught its kind of like not as accepted to like use contraceptives as it is in the UK and also kids are kind of seen are gifts form god in religions in Romania so they can’t control how many kids they have. But I think that he was only trying to make a better life for his kids just like my parents did since the conditions in Romania are pretty bad. The system was in place to make sure people with families dont stave and homeless. This "person" took advantage of it.

@@lepetitchat123 The problem is that he used his job-seekers allotment from his previous stay to hack the system. He shouldn't have been given that because he wasn't a citizen. Someone accepted his lies, he got it, he went home and brought back his family. Now, he could show the job seekers data at the port of entry and get into the country. And, he's landed into the donut hole that is the problem in most western country's immigration. In an attempt to be kind and sympathetic, it is now extremely hard to deport them. In the UK's case, I think they have to be convicted in court and then specifically signed off by the Home Secretary. UNLESS, one of many exceptions are done and it sounds like he knows this. To declare asylum being the biggest and lengthiest to determine. UK does quite well at turning people back at the point of entry, but if they make it, they may be safe for decades like illegals are in the U.S.

So how does it really work? I can go to England if I am from the EU, file for job seeker allowance and they have to give me a home?
I'm up to 14 episodes of council housing. It seems after two weeks in the Job Centre program, you can file for a council house, if you have a child under 13, you are bed & breakie housed, then moved to temp, then to council housing or estate (this one I'm fuzzy on). You must have to keep job centre check ins, but whomever working there doesn't care. They take car wash receipts or boot sale stall charges as self employment proof.
I could be way off, but that's what I've learned today
@@YagwitOG It requires special character. For me it's just easier to work. And even if hadn't job for 4 months 10 years ago I have been told I have too much saving to entitle to anything.

Same old story, Africans, Romanians, Polish , all rock up with no money and get housed - how on earth do these people get housed in 4 days, but we're told towork longer, to work more, expect less, oh and we all have to pay council tax, but these people get everything for free, it's totally outrageous -
