To all the people in the comments section complaining about the way Zach speaks, shame! This is enormously valuable - and FREE - content from a young man who didn't have to make this content for you. There are things and people in this world that we should be vocal about and criticise, but Zach's efforts here - and Justin/Dirtrackr's hosting of this video series - is not one of them. Until Zach comes to your place of work and tells you how to sweep up, keep your awful remarks to yourself. Kudos Zach. Look forward to shaking your hand in the pits one day. Peace out.
I agree. Lots of things in the world to get excited about, but this fine lad’s efforts in these videos should be appreciated, not criticized. If you don’t like it, don’t watch. 😊
Yes!!!!
I am a long time sprint car fan. And always wished for a video that goes into great detail with the car itself. Thanks Zach and Justin
This is really good. I'm perfectly fine with the organic pace. I'm taking notes here.🧐
This video makes me really glad I’m just a race fan and not a crew member.
Ton of work especially for one person.
Excellent video. Can't wait for the full series. I thought the commentary was good and well edited. Loved the detailed explanation. Keep them coming!
I thought it was great. Can’t wait for the next one. I didn’t even notice the ummms that guys are complaining about. The guy is building a sprint car and trying to tell everyone exactly what he’s doing while doing it. He’s not standing on stage public speaking or scripting everything he says.
Wow this is great! It's been 30 years or so since I put one together. I had ALMOST forgot how nuch detailed work goes into it.
From a guy who only recently started working on open wheel cars thank you guys for making these videos! This will definitely speed up my learning curve.
Very informative always wondered how everything fit together in such tight spaces
My cousins son has a trophy Doug Wolfgang gave to his mother when she was battling child hood lupus...Its either his last or second to the last trophy he won before finally retiring as a driver after he was partially burnt up....Nothing like watching sprint cars and enjoying the fumes n tears
Simply Fascinating!
Good stuff, looking forward to the rest!
Brings a lot memories!!
Awesome job 👍
Great video! Really like the detail and looking forward to the rest of the series.
Fantastic video guys, love seeing how things work and are put together. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the build. Thank you
This is fantastic!! Awesome information and details!! Thanks for creating these!!
Great work. Congratulations.
Brings back some of my best days!!
Great job! Thanks
This was very interesting, nice work.
Thanks, Zach for the insight of how these beasts are built from the ground up. Awesome👍
Wasn't expecting an hour...do the Always Sunny Into next time 😆
Keep up the good work!
What happened to putting in the master cylinder and brake lines?? That is always the fun part.
Nice job Zach and Justin! Would be nice to show elapsed time at the end. Thanks for this
"Do you wanna build a sprint caaar?!"🎶
What?!😅
When you were installing the upper power steering bracket, the other word I think you were looking for was “boss”. But I have heard called bungs also. It’s your video so technically you can call them whatever you want.
Port fitting
What is a tie bolt?
Titanium
Why does the wing slider clamp to the chassis? I figured it would have a tab welded to the cage..
Couple lengths of wing rams and different wings have different runner length, the clamp makes it so you can always have perfect length, but most every chassis has option of a weld on tab ,just depends on consumer preference
Most cars have welded tabs but this allows me to adjust it easily. Can allow me to get my wing further back on the car with OUT adding wing angle. When you move it with the slider it goes back but also adds angle which isn’t always ideal!
Love the channel and appreciate the thorough and informative technical videos that are great for educating the regular fan or viewer. However, with that said, this channel tends to lean little more heavily or favorably on the sprint car coverage. Hopefully you can partner with someone to do a similar series on the DLM which essentially covers the other platforms as well or at least the gist of it. The difference in assembly is insufficient between DLM and modifieds, limited lates, super stocks, street stocks, etc.
U need a driver !!!
Drinking game: Take a drink for every “Umm”. But in all seriousness great job Zach and Justin. This is a great thing you guys are doing and I’m sure as Zach does more and more, he will get better and more comfortable in front of the camera.
Somebody not going to make it to the end
Your wallet! 💳
Good concept. I like the video but the music needs to go
Great video, a lot if info but imo maybe its just me but " to many um's" just Constructive criticism
First of all ? Did you build the frame or did you order it from CHINA made from CHINESE quality steel ?
Enjoying the video; learning a lot. Realize you are not a professional speaker, but for the love of God, please try to cut back on the "ums" and "uhs" and "ahs". Otherwise, carry on with a great idea and informative turorial.
Ummmmmm…ummmm…so…ummmmm…can you edit some of the ummmm’s out of the next video!
Already done.
Um,,,,um,,,um,,
No offence ...too many aaas and umms, needs a professional narrator
