Revision Total Hip Replacement done in a patient from Cameroon with infected Total Hip Arthroplasty.

A 41 year old gentleman from Cameroon had undergone Total Hip Replacement in his own country few years ago. Unfortunately he developed infection in the operated joint. Doctors in Cameroon there did five more surgeries, but failed to eradicate the infection. Finally he came to Jaypee Hospital, Noida for further treatment.
Dr. Gaurav Rathore, Director - Department of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement did a two stage surgery after proper evaluation. First the previous implant was removed and infection was controlled with medication. Then a revision Total Hip Replacement was done.
