- Find out the details behind 'Operation Bluestar', that was ordered by ex-PM Indira Gandhi in order to establish control over the Harmandir Sahib Complex in Amritsar, Punjab and remove Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his armed followers from the complex buildings. Bhindranwale had earlier taken residence in Harmandir Sahib and made it his headquarters in April 1980.

My question to Sikhs of today - I am not a supporter of Mrs. Indira Gandhi. I hate Congress the same way as you people do. But, when Mrs. Gandhi was shot dead. She was unarmed and also a woman. Was this a chivalry to assassinate an unarmed woman, who trusted Sikh religion and her Sikh bodyguards??
She was a woman but not a lachaar woman.... definitely Not an innocent one she was the real culprit behind the deaths of many and culprit behind attacking the akal takhat, and that too on the shahidi diwas knowing that there will be a large number of sikh pilgrims than the normal days. And culprit is not defined by gender he/she must die/punished. And the thing that she was unarmed, she also attacked on lakhs of ladies and children who were there unarmed. And when Satwant singh and Beant singh saw that witch, there would have been a fire of rage,and the fire of revenge which was burning in the every sikh’s heart. Hence killed- unarmed.
And the queens of mughal empire were left with dignity beacause they were not at guilt their kings were.
Lakhs of sikh woman were raped and killed and made to pee in the mouth of their brothers and fathers... can you even imagine this. Don’t just talk about one side. Try to feel the pain of sikhs tooo. Have some meetings with the families who were killed by army in the harmindar sahib that time.
