Why would the successful Gorbachev reform ending be called the Slavic republic? Only three republics/federative republics were Slavic. Surely something like Soviet federation or something like that would make more sense considering Gorbachev wanted the ethnicities to not feel oppressed.
Just misstep on my part then, I was looking for something that wasn’t too Russian or too Soviet but in the middle, Slavic probably wouldn’t be so nice in the Kazakh or Uzbek ssrs
