In 1950 as a15 year old "smart a***" I atempted to ring the Tenor to call changes on the old ten. Could not even "bounce" the bell off the stay let along ring it, only stretching the rope .Four pulls later a gert hairly arm reached over my shoulder with the words "she's all yours" and away we went. Halycon days I remember it all so well now that I am in my eighties. Thanks TDGR

I think it is good that they practice lower numbered methods for learners at a cathedral. The best practices are the ones which cater for all! :-) Very nice ring though! :-)
