My grandparents had this Barbie at their house, and I loved her! It was always a fight between cousins of who got to play with her. I didn’t always win, but I won in the end because I have her today…though she has been well loved.

The masking tape is like the end paper technique hair stylists use for perm rods. It does make a difference. Its just a thin not colored tissue paper that you wet and pull to the ends, wrap around the rod.
That is exactly where I go the idea from!
I still have my Barbie and Sindy dolls from my childhood in the 60s 😆
That is so awesome! I passed down my dolls to a younger neighbor when I outgrew them but wish I had not. I don't have anything left from my childhood 😟
@@LadyDynamiteCreates Start a new collection, I still have a few of my childhood dolls, as they are now around 50 years old their fragile.
I now have a personal collection of MH dolls and Ruby Red Fashion Friends. I play with them, even built a huge doll house for my MH gang. Your never to old when you are a child at heart x
@@kitsirainbowfineart That is exactly what I did. When I got my first job making good money I started buying Jem and the Holograms dolls. I always wanted them as a kid but no one bought them for me. I had 1 growing up and now I have them all!

She was one of my favorites! My bestie and my I played Barbie’s way too long haha We had 2 of the same Ken dolls. One’s head fell off and the others leg. They always pulled switcharoos but the girls only knew who was who when the said body part fell off! 😂😂😂

I really loved the Generation Girl line of Barbie and friends. I think I had every character…and still do in storage somewhere.
They were a bit past my doll playing age but their designs were really cool.
Believe it or not, I really loved Bratz dolls because of their style and how cute they were. I also weirdly loved the VINTAGE 1990s HASBRO 12" Inch GI Joe Action Figures because to me they were way better as male dolls than stupid ken dolls. And I loved my Winx dolls that were a rubbery texture and could bend and flex their legs and arms. I thought that was so cool! And they were so pretty. And I also loved these one dolls called Sky dancers I believe. There was this whole show about them that I adored. They were like fairies that were helicopter toy things that spun away from you and they were so much fun to play with.
Winx and Bratz were during my in between phase of doll interests but I remember Sky Dancers, they were super cool but I never had one. I too didn't really have Ken dolls......I had New Kid on the Block dolls....looking back they were truly awful but it was true love to 9 year old me.

I had the biggest crush on Jessie McCartney so if he had a doll back then I would have begged until my parents gave in. 😂 I've never seen a doll of him to this day though so I have no clue if there was ever one made. 🤔 By the way I looked up those dolls and they had much better style than my choice of male dolls that is for sure. 😂😅

Anyway, I can't remember if I ever got a Peaches & cream Barbie. My fav was a Valentine's Day one with this red and white dress. I remember the skirt part being white with little red hearts and a red bodice. I think it was a velvety type of fabric. I wanna say she also glowed in the dark, but could be mixing her up with another one.
Also Barbie's friend Jewel Secret Whitney... I loved her more than any barbie with her super long brown hair and her pursed lips.

My first Barbie was the Magic Curl Barbie, {where she came with solution to straighten then rince out to g back to curls(but I could never get it to work 😃)} But I luved her the way she came. Love the Redo!

i had a few barbies... i used to chew their feet. i the one barbie i remember was the one i named zoe bald, after tv presenter zoe ball. i had cut the barbie's hair off to match the pixie cut of the tv presenter. but she looked how this one did before the reroot. i didn't make her name a pun on purpose, i just genuinely thought that was the presenter's name
