I love how they framed the recap as Miles getting help for his college application. Helps show character as well as catch players up to speed. That's why Insomniac are the GOATs!

I love how the entire game Miles does and says the same stuff that Peter did through his entire career and then the stans run out and whine how he's a different character. It's a minstrel show. Plain and simple.

Not an intro but just the present explaining the past is perfect for Spider-Man
It actually is the intro you immediately see starting the game.
The onlything missing is "Welcome true believers!" from Stan Lee himself.

Who wrote this, compose this and assembled it deserves ovations. The team who made this did an outstanding job. It doesn't feel like a video game or even a movie. It felt real. This captured the empathy of the characters. It was well written.

Literally best VA’s to do these characters. They’re the greatest & best voices for these amazing characters, and NOTHING & NOBODY will EVER change my mind!
I love how they framed this recap, but also illustrates how important the legacy of Spider-Man is for both of them… which is also something shared between the game developers and the fans who eagerly wait to play the game. Spider-Man is a part of everyone who loves the character (no matter which version that may be) because Spider-Man is the part of us that fights so hard to make a positive impact on others because it’s our responsibility to do right by whatever limited power we have. Sure we aren’t LITERALLY the webslingers, hence why this game is so special, as it allows us to become them for a time, but we all face the struggles of responsibility every day. “I can’t talk about myself with talking about Spider-Man.” Miles says… pretty relatable in the sense that our experiences makes us who we are.

Can’t wait to dive in and play this game tomorrow night. Although, I’m a little disappointed you can’t do a NG+ or replay missions at launch but it’s ok I’m not trying to complain. Unsurprisingly, another masterpiece from Insomniac. I think they have become one of my favorite game devs.

I just finished them in reverse chronological order. Didn’t finish Miles a couple years back but then forgot how the events played out to him being bitten so went back and played through Remastered. Finished just in time last night. So excited!
