Oh yeah boy! There's our Steady-Eddie himself, Edward. It's easy to say that this new version of Edward looks so great the amazing amount of realistic features, the rivets, the accurate facial expressive face, The 4-4-0 wheel configuration and every single detail that I see is awesome because of the amazing wheel configuration I would have to say this is probably my favorite Wooden Railway Edward miles better than your original Wooden Railway Edward because the original ones had four wheels even the wood version but here it has the for driving Wheels and four small wheels and that is something that Edward should look like not to mention the detail on the side rods everything is absolutely amazing a solid 10 out of 10 for me.
@@MaxMonty1516 I just wished James and Nia had both driving wheels on 1 bogey and the trailing wheels on the front like Edward. Edward is probably thinking, U WOT M8?! I don't have a Thomas Wood Edward. :(
Well all appreciate Mattel doing the amazing job they've been doing with the New Wooden Railway but the big question is why is Mattel still trying to force All Engines Go on everyone know in that Mattel know it's not what every one wants
I am glad to have bought the new Edward, one with a much more accurate wheel arrangement and a surprised facial expression. It's the model I'm going to be using as Edward from now on (especially if my latest community posts on my channel are anything to go by). Thus far, the 2022 Wooden Railway line is looking real promising, especially since characters like Edward, Henry, and Toby got new models in it. Who knows what models will come if the line sells well enough and/or a certain toy company behind it treats their customers right?
I got Edward last Friday I got him off of Amazon he's the only 2022 wooden railway model I own right now but I hope to get engines like Hiro the troublesome trucks Kenji and Kevin
Someone pointed out Edward may have that face because it's supposed to be like he got into an accident like in most of his appearances in the BWBA seasons.
That’s not a bad theory considering these were designed in 2020. I first thought of the scene where Percy crashes into Edward’s trucks in Marvelous Machinery.
Edward is a ok model but the shocked face somewhat throw me but I can look pass it with the wheels overhaul Edward is a 8/10 for me but I am looking forward to see how Rebecca translates over since it will be her second wooden railway model since her wood model to blocky so I can't wait for Emily and Rebecca reviews but Toby he looks abet on the thin side so far this wooden railway line is good so far.
I'm going to be honest here before this model was released I was extremely skeptical especially because of the size but seeing it up close through video I see how wrong i was! The size is perfect and not too long at all. That wheel configuration is just EEEEEEEEEEE I never liked the wheel configurations before for Edward but here I love it. TWR 2022 Edward looks amazing all I'd change is give him a smiling face (specifically the original TWR smiling face) but that's it definitely my favourite TWR Edward
I have to say the new Edward looks really nice. I think he’s even better than James in my opinion. I think the new James is a bit too long. I certainly love the new Henry and Gordon
Do these fit in tomy track like the last wooden railway models did? I know the wheels are differend but it would save me having to buy wooden railway track if I can just use my tomy track

Most of the faces on the new engines throw me off, which made me not buy them and the wheels look way smaller than I thought, they could be bigger
