Tip #2 of desert camping. Buy yourself 6 3/8” X 10 lag bolts. A battery drill and socket that fits the bolt head. Use these as tent stakes.
Tip #2 use Tory as a wind break so Tory gives you shelter from wind. Your tent is on the “Lee” down wind side. Happy days
New guy here, in a perfect world your dinner would include butter and fresh garlic. Since you are without a refrigerator you could use garlic powder and a bit of vegetable stock. That would make it much better. IMO

you need traction boards for future situations where you get stuck. if you had winch; take your spare and berry it in the sand with winch attached to it. the weight of the send should keep the spare down so that you winch off of it and get unstuck. this may work better with bigger and heavier spares.
Cafayate is so beautiful. It's an area you'll look back at years in the future with joy (even if you got stuck 😆)

Reversing out is the way to go mate. Its rear wheel drive. Imagine pushing something through sand versus pulling it, way easier to pull. On top of that, the single front wheel does it no favours, theres more load being put through a smaller surface area which is why it gets bogged down so easily in the first place. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any easy modifications that would help. You're going to need grit, determination, and possibly an engine swap.

If you have better ground ahead then go forward, but if not then do not, your front also wheels acts as a dead tire when sideways or it gets cocked front the terrain

My man. Getting stuck. Seen you do that a bit. The easy fix????
Get yourself a “come along” a nice tow strap. And a danforth small boat anchor. This with a small shovel will get you out of anything.
Bury the anchor in whatever dirt you have and use that anchor as a tree to winch your way through whatever you find yourself in. COME ALONG!!! saves lives.
You need a shovel…and a winch.
